  1. I don't want to rain on your parade, but don't get to excited about them saying it only takes ten days to get to GZ!! However, this is still a big step congratulations.
  2. Congratulations, it won't be long now. For those of us who are fortunate, lucky, and brave enough to explore new worlds, if we are lucky enough we end up blessed with charming, intelligent, passionate and lovely women to spend the rest of our lives with. My wife has been in the US for 18 months now and she has adapted very well. I could not be more happier. So yes Larry we all went through the same process as you, with all the same misgivings. Ain't life grande, what a wonderful adventure it has become!!
  3. Well then it means they might hire them by January of 2005. You all know how fast the UCIS moves!!
  4. See miracles do happen!!! What else can possibly explain this!! Congratulations!!!
  5. What just another kid, thats your excuse for being away for so long??? Well congratulations, I think, you will really be busy now!!
  6. Congratulations, Now that was not to bad, was it??

  8. Geez Se Lang, I thought you would have been a little more excited!!!
  9. Hi and welcome to candle. Check out the links and resources section of this site. It will give you the latest info on filing the 1-129. Just curious, what center will you be filing your petition at? I am now married to a wonderful woman from Shanghai. Love that city!!
  10. Welcome to this never ending process!!!!
  11. If your wife does not speak good English, you had better bring a translator with you. Family members can not act as a translator!!! Good Luck
  12. Congratulations, so what the hell are you doing on Candle???? Maybe you could find something a little better to do???
  13. I am proud to say my wife got her license 6/2/03. So she has been driving for over one year and her driving has really improved so much. She will drive pretty much anywhere or anytime, she really enjoys it. Now if I can just get her that Hummer she is interested in?????
  14. Ten hours and counting.. Can you say my house is clean enough??
  15. Yes you can buy her a ticket here in the US. That's what I did when I brought my honey back with me. And it was after 9/11. Here is a pretty good site for cheap fares. However, they only leave from major cities, but check it out. www.gobundle.com
  16. After we got married I put my wife on my health insurance. The two required shots cost me a $5 copay. The 693 has to be filled out by a US Board Certified Dr, not a surgeon. I am not sure if the shots you got in GZ, are what you need for the AOS. There should have been a list of local Drs. in your AOS packet. AOS filing is pretty simple.. Good Luck!!!
  17. Well I guess we won't have to worry about you ever breaking the top ten in posting here!!! Make sure you ALSO buy a new toilet seat!!!
  18. Why don't you try a good old fashioned Tea Pot, for hot water. Congratulations and welcome back to the USA!!!!
  19. That was extemely fast, congratulations but don't get your hope to high as now you will really get into the process. However, miracles do happen, just not at Immigration!!!
  20. Remember truth is stranger then fiction!!! Always be honest during this process, or surely you will regret it..
