Keep us updated. Will you really wait twooooo whoooooole weeks, before you go to CA????
-
That is the way it used to be in Boston, also. We got our EAD & AP same day we applied. However, since this system was working very well no wonder they changed it. Imagine the horror when the BCIS found out that people were actually getting documents the same day they applied for them. So I am sure they said we will fix those sons of b's in Boston. Now you have to send everything to Chicago, and wait several months. I believe they call that "JOB SECURITY now they can wait months & months like everyone else!!!

Four times to Shanghai, never a problem with a taxi. Of course I always had a lovely escort

Hi Tony, I can't believe they told you she has to stop working...unbelievable!!!!

Hi Dave, since your wife will moving to the US at some point, it would be much easier for you to visit her in China. She may or may not be able to get a permit for HK. If she is willing to come to the US then you could at least suck it up this one time, and spend some time with her, in her hometown, or wherever she happens to be living at the moment. Dave, I do not mean to be rude or insensitive, just remember what these women are giving up for us. Not all Chinese women who come to the US have a better life here, then they had in China!!! I know of some women who believe they had a much better life in China then here in the US!! Bottom line is you have to do what you feel is the right thing to do for you and your wife!!

Landing in SF last year my fiance first impression of the US was why are there so many fat people!!. Now that she has been here for over a year she is still amazed that there ares till so many fat people. I tell her that will probably not change anytime soon. She went to Toronto, last month and thought there were so many thin and good looking me there vs the US!!

It's been a while since I have seen a P-3. From what I remember the two most important documents are the OF-169 and the DS-230. Your fiances should already have these filled out and ready to go. Once you hear they are sending or have sent out the P-3 you should fax and EMS them to GZ, ASAP. Nothing really officially gets started until GZ has these two documents!!

You should figure out exactly what you will do, and buy yourself a round trip ticket here. You would be better off buying her a one way ticket here, and just bring it with you. This is what I did and it worked out fine.. Where will you be flying to?? Most airlines give you the best deals the further you buy from your departure date. Buying a couple of days in advance could be quite expensive By the way CONGRATULATIONS and good luck. -
Well, what took you so long!!! Congratulations, so when will your new family be arriving in the US???

Sorry we have Saftey Insurance. Saved 20% of a 3K bill!!! You know how these women like to save!!! Lili, now has over one year of driving with out ant violations, not bad eh!!! How long has you wife been driving?? We told the insurance company Lili, has been driving for ten years. Something about new drivers having to have at least four years of driving experience, so we just added a few more on. -

The IRS form 4506 does not not require a charge for anything if you are requesting your three previous years of filing ANY of the 1040 series. Re-read question #8 of the 4506. Once you file a request, it takes about 30-60 days to get your copies. I did this with no charge and no problem -
Went to Chengmai Thailand, many years ago for R & R from the military. All I remeber is the beautiful women, extradinary beaches, and the heat. Had a great time, of course I was only 19 then!!!

When we first applied on 12/30/03, we requested and got a dual entry AP same day in Boston. In February of this year they stopped any local centers that were still doing AP and now they all go to Chicago. The system was not broken, but our wonderful government somehow managed to break it after all We were lucky as we got our green card before we would have used the AP for a second trip. Filed AOS 4/24/03, received green card 4/18/04.
