How many countries rush to our aid when we have floods, earthquakes, or hurricanes destroying different parts of our country. Let some other countries step up once in a while!!!
Don't send the Consulate any money. Pay for the visa at the bank and bring this receipt to the interview. If possible get the physical done ASAP and bring the results also to the interview. Have her fax, and then ALSO send EMS the DS-230 and OF-169 to GZ. CONGRATULATIONS, only a couple of more months and you should have your P-4/interview!! Best of luck..
There is no fee to be paid with the two forms you received. When you get the P-4 you will have to pay a fee for the medical. I believe the Medical fee does not include the visa fee of 830 rmb. These are two seperate fee's you will have to pay. Be sure you bring the receipt for the visa fee to the interview. This is one of the first things they will ask you for!! Simply put, No receipt No VISA!!!
This is exactly what I submitted with no problems.. Robert xxxxxx, has been employed by the City of Boston, MA since January 10, 1994. His position is permanent, and his annual salary is $xxxxxxxx.
If you buy her ticket in China there will be no problem. I bought my fiances one way ticket here in the US. I was issued a paper ticket for her here and just brought it with me. I think this was the best/easiest way (for me) to handle it. Good Luck!!
Yes just type it up yourself. All you need is where you work, when you started, and how much you make per week or year. Basically one sentence, on company letterhead, no big deal!!! Good luck,
I don't want to rain on your parade, but it could take up to two months or more for GZ to get your paperwork from the US. Unfortunately this is just the way it is for everyone, no matter where you file!!! Good luck and have a great visit with your honey..
GZ does not like it, but by law they have to reply within 48 hours of every Congressional Inquiry they receive. Every month they have to send Congress a list of all inquiries received and the results of each. Although they don't like it, it will never hurt you. They figure if you can get a Congressperson to inquire for you they also don't want to tick them off. Do whatever you have to if you want answers!!!
My wife has booked tickets to Shanghai from Beantown through an agency in Chinatown. They have pretty good prices, check them out.. TRANS PACIFIC TRAVEL 617-451-3478
