Only way to know in advance is by calling DOS to see if interveiw date has been scheduled. Otherwise it's just a waiting game for the P4.

Jesse, I agree, I don't know either, but 3 recent cases of P4 to interview of 2 weeks looks like more than what I've seen here before, so we'll wait and see if it is a qwirk or a trend as more P4's are received. My SO called the Hospital in GZ to confirm the 2 day processing with a 60 yuan fee so we will go to GZ on Sunday March 5, go to Medical first thing on Monday, then pickup the paperwork in afternoon on Tuesday before her Wed interview. Since the hospitals don't process medicals on Sat or Sun, this saved us 3 or 4 nights of hotel stay there. She also called and got a room reserved at the TianYu Garden hotel, so we should be all set after picking up the police certificate from the English translation place in Wuming tomorrow. I can see the nervousness in my SO already!! My "don't worry" words to her don't seem to help, so I'm glad the interview is soon, so the worry period will be shorter. 192895[/snapback] Is the TianYu Hotel the place where the owner helps with interview questions and medical appt.?

I'm hoping it was a canned response. I just thought i'd give the pay line a chance. Wasn't expecting much.

Mercator, 1,0,0 is what I usually use. For some reason 1,1,0 was working just fine. ShaQuaNew said to try the 1,1,0 I didn't know you could go either route.

DOS told me that all security clearance has been completed. Now it's P4 time I hope.

I guess that depends on what it costs and what you call expensive. It costs me a dime a message. I have no idea what it costs on the other end. She never told me how much though. I send her money often so i'm not really concerned. Not really "expensive" but it does add up.

I sent text messages all the time to my SO with my cell phone. Just input the same number you use to call her. But it is expensive for both sender and receiver.

Alec we sent our P3 back the same day as you. I am not concerned yet about not receiving the p4. From what I have been noticing with the speed up of timelines, P3-P4 has been approx 1 month. And P4 to interview has been approx 2 months. Of course falling into name check hell is always a possibility. You can call to check on your case from China 4008 872 333, but you need to pay for a pin number 1st. Rather then paying for a Pin and getting the usual canned response, I would get a phone card and call DOS from China.
