I do know that I received an email from GUZ on the 17th and when I called DOS this morning, she could see the very same comment on her computer that was given to me in the email. So it looks like daily updates.

What happens is they use the same tracking number more then once. I remember when i was trying to track my shippment it seemed to land, take off and land again. I called DHL and found out they have a glitch that uses the name tracking number more then once. Not sure if that's what's happening with you or not.

Wow I just called GUZ because I'm curious to know if any new notes have been added to our case. The lady began telling me that after case is approved at NVC that we should receive our P3. Then she began asking me if we receive our p3 yet. Grrrrrrrrrrrr Duh! Do they read from a manual on what to say? Don't they even look at the cases to see what is happening? Is this the example of my tax dollars at work?

Hanli after I read that you wrote the whitehouse and the whitehouse wrote DOS, I went ahead and skipped the WH and wrote directly to DOS. That's when they told me to call the usual 1225 number that we always call. I will give it a bit more time before I write the White house. I almost feel like it's a waste of time contacting these people. That's what I thought. They do have a huge age difference but I'm not sure if that is a problem. I only know that the VO told his SO something about his previous petition and the fact he never got married within the 90 day timeframe. I'm thinking the letter he sent to cancel the orginal case never got to the correct people.

I have a co-worker that just called me and said their visa was denied at the interview. VO told the SO that they don't believe they have a bonafied relationship and their case is being sent back to DHS. My co-worker went through this process a few years ago and after his fiance arrived in USA, she decided that the relationship was a mistake and went back home after 11 days. My co-worker let immigration know that he wanted to cancel the entire process becasue his fiance went back to China. Now the VO is saying that because his previous fiance came to USA and he did not get married to her within the 90 days, then this current K1 must not be bonafied. Whatever that means I don't know. Anyway he plans on getting hold of King for help. He had a friend that went through some trouble earlier with the visa process and he said King was able to get his friend a visa with no problem. He thinks the cost was $3,000 and he didnt' even have to go back for a 2nd interview. King took care of everything. I think that was pretty kool.

nathalie509..... I'm sorry to hear about your lack of any time of good news. I hope you hear something very soon. Good luck. eeyore.....It does suck not being about to talk to someone that can give better information. We all deserve answers. 6 months, 1 yr, 2 yrs. We all have different timelines. But what we all have in common is the love we have for our women that we are committed to spending our life with. Our SO's deserve and answer just as much as we do.

I posted a question to GUZ a few weeks ago asking them to confirm whether something was going on there that was slowing things down. While I appreciate that GUZ is there, they are VERY careful not to confirm or deny whether they are having problems. Questions are met with the standard reply of "each case is different." Well, duh. I think we all know if any customer based business that was dependent upon word-of-mouth would fail in a week with such customer treatment. Yes, this is the way that we, Americans, and our families are treated. Is it okay? 110 days in name check delay. Doesn't matter who I talk to, no one can tell me what the delay is. DOS tells me that GUZ should forward an email to security clearance. GUZ tells me that they "will follow up the namecheck for visa applicant if necessary." Well at what point does it become necessary? 150 days? 200 days? 5 yrs from now? Sorry for the rant. I just hate it when I have no control over something like this. And no one can help. I'm tired of talking to people that only have the ability to look at a computer and say the same thing over and over again. Can't anyone pick up the case and give me an answer? Hello?
