1. http://i1.tinypic.com/1zo85fk.jpg Sorry guys, but I just could not resist. I think the both of you have the best of intentions, but the problem we all have is that we just do not know how the language of this law will be interpreted. I tend to lean toward Lee's view, because the IMBRA language seems to be a "catch-all" for all websites, but that does not mean I am right or wrong. I think we need to realize that we are all flying blind on this for now.

3. I was wondering the same thing Randy. I answered yes and I'm very anxious as to whether it will slow me down in this process.

Wow, that was some great info. I saved it for my SO and I; I know it will be very useful to us when we get to that stage. Thanks for sharing.
5. It says for any of the following crimes and then lists the crimes. The offenses you listed do not pertain to this form. I do not think you should check anything.
6. USCIS has my fiancee's first name listed as a first and middle name in their system. I checked my original submission and I gave it to them as one name, but nevertheless they have it in their computers incorrectly. What can I do to get this corrected? Thanks
7. I received my RFE on July 1, so maybe this visa train is back on the tracks again.
8. Ron, I'm glad to hear you got your RFE. CONGRATS TO YOU!!! I hope to get mine very soon. I'm sure it will arrive any day now, as I was only a few days behind you in my initial submission. Maybe we will very soon be moving forward in this process again. Juette
9. This is very depressing news! Especially since I have been expecting a NOA2 any day now.
10. This is a really frightening development. I can not see how this will not cause substantial delays...
11. Yeah Ron, seeing those processing dates were a bit disconcerting. I concur with you in your thanks to Mike and Sherry for the words of encouragement. I hope you are right Mike! Thanks for helping Ron and I to keep our spirits up.
12. Thanks for the info! It looks like the wait will continue for me a good while longer.
13. Does anyone know what received dates the Texas Service Center is working on for K-1 fiancee visas? I'm ready to get that NOA2! Thanks, Juette
14. Rick, Don't let them take the joy away from your and Yanlan's heart. Remember this, in the end you will prevail. Still keeping you two in my thoughts and prayers. I know that plane ride home will be tough. Juette
15. Rep. Tom Tancredo, R-Colo. (Getty) "[Amnesty is] a slap in the face to every single person who has done it the right way, and to everybody who's waiting out there to do it the right way." I think we can all agree that Rep. Tancredo is right on target with his statement about this issue.
16. Very well said! You should be very proud of your SO as I know you are.
17. Larry, After her arrival, don't forget to share your experiences here for all of us to enjoy and learn from. Well, at least after you come up for air. 196906 What an experience. Her plane was 1 1/2 hours delayed out of Shanghai. So the additional wait caused an enormous amount of anxiety. I spent three hours walking from the arrival area to the mezzanine. Watching and waiting to see her plane come in (China Eastern). I was elated when I saw it pull in and dock. Then the butterflys began. Was she on the plane, would she be the last off, would she be held up by customs. No time to think about it now I had to get back to the arrival area. It seemed to take forever. More and more people arriving from Teipei and no wife and then from around the corner she appeared. I wanted to cry with joy in fact I think I did. She informed me that the customs check went very smooth. Apparently GUZ issues a packet upon approval of the visa that is sealed and which your SO gives to customs upon arrival to the US. Customs then issues a I-94 card which is stapled to the inside of the passport. The I-94 form, acutually a card, is important because it is required for the issuance of a social security card in the US. So for all of the other couples out there make sure your SO's are aware of this form. Good luck to all that are waiting and congrats to those that are in the joyest position I am in. LT 197243 Wow Larry, after reading this I was feeling that anxiety with ya. But, I am glad she made it here in the good old US of A and the two of you start your new life together!! Congrats to both 197299 CONGRATS!! I'm like so majorly jealous, though!
18. I too have used http://www.visa-chinese.com and have been very pleased with their service and fast turnaround times.
19. Paula, I'll keep you and your husband in my prayers. I hope you are with him in the USA very soon. Juette
