1. 165884 double . Does anyone know anything here??
2. Have a good trip, guy! Let us know when you get back!
3. I have found Chinese people to be much more typically possessive (both male and female) of their SO's with regards to even a casual ongoing aquaintance. I was banned recently from having lunch with a Chinese (female) friend that I had had lunch with most every Monday for more than a year. When I told her that my fiance was being a typically possessive Chinese female, she said that her husband was likewise a typically possessive Chinese male - and didn't like it either. She just hadn't said anything to him for a long time. She feels better now that we are both in line with our SO's pictures. To answer your question, yes of course it's possible, but there are three sets of feelings to consider - also what is most important to you.
4. They need US visas to come to the US (of course) - China is not involved. But my understanding is that the B-2 visas are for parents only - I hope you find out otherwise. By parents, I mean Zixuan's parents.

6. That's great! Congratulations!! You might try as soon as you have the GUZ number - they send the P3 out soon after they get your application.
7. Send it to NSC (your SC) with a cover sheet explaining the correction. State the form # and the item # on the form that you wish to correct.
8. If her eyes are dark, she may need the opaque lenses to actually change the color - not as pretty (or 3-dimensional) as the translucent color-modifying ones.
9. Congratulations! Looks like the December wave is on its way!!
10. Hey!! Good News! http://bergoiata.org/gif/Feu4.gif
11. Wonderful! Great news! http://bergoiata.org/gif/Feu4.gif http://tinypic.com/erfmns.gif http://tinypic.com/erfmns.gif http://tinypic.com/erfmns.gif http://tinypic.com/erfmns.gif http://tinypic.com/erfmns.gif
12. The "punishment" we are talking about here is simply deportation - it would be devastating to those of us to those of us who are legally importing loved ones to live with our families here, but no big deal to those who are illegally here to work. Devastating especially because of the effect it might have on subsequent visa applications. Those who are here to work are simply sent BACK to where there loved ones are, and can turn around and make another illegal attempt. Same penalty in the eyes of the law, but a vastly different effect. To say that nothing is done ignores the numbers of illegals that are either barred from entry, or sent back home. That the percentage is low simply says that the border patrol is overwhelmed. The fact that the overwhelming majority are from Mexico simply says that Mexico is that much closer than China. As far as enforcement, do we know of anyone forcibly sent back home? By following the law, we avoid having to dodge the law, and also the potentially devastating consequences if we are caught.
13. I think Ty pulled a fast one on you. Check the date of Skrunks' post (2003). But, in any event, happy birthday Skrunks. 165056
14. A couple of people have brought dogs over recently, if you can check with them (I forget who). I would either go to the security check and see if they don't let you through, or simply follow your SO's lead. It seems like all you need to do is to go wherever they tell you to, and make sure the dog is checked with an LAX tag.
15. Mine only wants a new set of sheets! No problem!
16. Make that
in your signature, Ty. Get 'em approving for us Fred! - but I believe they require at least 2 blue thingies before you can pick up the visa!
17. ´òƨ¹É - dapigu - flog the buttocks - spank
18. The outlook on lawyers is about 50-50 around here - with about 50% swearing by their lawyer, the other 50% swearing at their lawyer. If you are inclined to do it yourself, it is not difficult at all. 9 to 12 months would be more realistic - 6 months might be a new record. The Guangzhou consulate has been speeding up lately, but there is not enough information yet to really see a trend. It could take longer with any security check. I think that the DCF is a separate process from a K-1.
19. Yes - there are underlying formats that are different. l remember when the photo CD's came out, they came out with new PC CD players that were able to read the photo CD's, while the older ones could not. ??This even though the file system appeared to be the PC file system.??But I think the VCD format is compatible, and your drive should be able to read it, so my vote is for a new drive, or , like someone already suggested, burn new CD's that are compatible. I think you can do this by simply copying the files to a hard drive and burning them as data files (with the same directory structure).
20. http://bergoiata.org/gif/Feu4.gif Congratulations!! http://tinypic.com/erfmns.gif http://tinypic.com/erfmns.gif http://tinypic.com/erfmns.gif http://tinypic.com/erfmns.gif http://tinypic.com/erfmns.gif http://tinypic.com/erfmns.gif
21. Then I think the hardware (PC DVD drive) just can't read it for some reason (head alignment??). Try a different drive (a different PC?) If you can't get the directory information, then its just not reading anything - it's not a encoding or data or anything else problem.
