  1. Congratulations Don, glad this saga is over and the new one is beginning.
  2. It's been some time now since we've used it but we enjoyed ours.
  3. Have you tried Google maps? https://maps.google....arkets&t=m&z=11 You might also consider slumming over to the Indian or Middle Eastern markets. But should have most of the same spices and lots of fresh veggies. As Dan suggested check with Google.
  4. The DVD was a 'trend' back in the day (some VOs were insisting upon it), but wasn't something we had to provide in her 2006 interview.
  5. Don't fight it Robert. It's the natural order of things. That's right. Don't worry Robert she's telling everyone that you are her Boss and the smartest man in the world. (Reality is just between you and her.)
  6. As a 'inactive' coin collector I say get rid of the penny now. Nickle in 5 years.
  7. That's good for you. You're an exception. And a brave one at that.
  8. United once was a great pick over American. Now it's just another cattle-car being run by temporary employees and contractors that don't know their @$$ from a hole in your ticket.
  9. When they came in to announce reforms with working conditions by reducing over-time many workers were upset. They are here for the money and the more work the more money. Assembly line work is bleak and until the labor cost goes up enough to justify a robot it will continue to exist.
  10. I agree. When you exit with the US passport they stamp the exit date/time. You had better have one in there or else you'd be forced to pay a fine (around $600 last I checked) before you can leave.
  11. Dan, DON'T READ THIS!!! So guys remember the date? 3:30AM we're all going to start Political threads is each of the forums and then start fighting with each other.
  12. Dan, don't lock down the Good Ole Boy Porn Room! (at least give us some notice first)
  13. In a large city and stopped at a traffic light while a small herd of goats pass next to us is one of those huge ancient horse drawn carts and behind that is a BMW 750.
  14. It's somewhat old news now. The other viral was that of the Brit guy sexually assaulting a girl in Beijing. That's stirred up a lot of anti-foreigner sentiment.
  15. Thanks, it'll be a toss of pricing a cruise to Hong Kong vs. 1st class air to Shanghai or Beijing.
  16. I have an elderly relative that I'd like to take to China, but he can't take the long airplane ride. Any passenger ships from US to China outside of the 'cruise' packages?
  17. It's by individual. But still ... what any Chinese woman says is always the absolute truth hands down, no questions asked, it's Gospel.
  18. Age shouldn't be an issue (I'm +16 years). Others have more.
  19. A big 'duh' to boot... Now now, you ol' boyz oughta know by now, I'm dumber, and happier, than a big ol' spotted trout chewin'' hisself a dayglo green plastic worm. For so many years I had to sit alone in the back of the room and read everyone else's stories, just like this. May I never become jaded when the next newbie makes a post like this. tsap seui walkin' around in unfettered bliss Lemme know when she comes home with a Plastic Bag that has an Oscar de la Renta logo on it (but not white). Then you'll know what a major league Power Shopper is. But she'll spout the virtues and completely justify the purchase http://www.pursepage.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/04/oscar-de-la-renta-transparent-travel-tote.jpg
  20. Yep. Airlines have gone from this http://www.liligo.co.uk/travel-blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/Airline-ad2.jpg to this http://www.tensionnot.com/pictures/images/Car/Crowded-School-Bus-Or-Fish-Dealer.jpg
  21. I mostly agree with Randy. Some of them are so busy protecting you that you can't use your computer. Norton was very bad about that I don't know now because I refuse to buy it. Also there is a danger going with major brands as the hackers focus on their weaknesses. Getting smaller market share brands may be risky but has the advantage that hackers are most likely not focusing on their code. BTW: Apple seems to have come of age now as hackers have started focusing on those machines. It was so easy to say "No virus hits my Mac". Well that's because Apple had a small market share so why bother wrting malware against them.
  22. Martin is considered to be very much an accomplished banjo artist. He's played it since he first appeared on the Smothers' Brothers show in the '60s and most recently he and his band won an award (Grammy or Country Music) for their Bluegrass album. He'd also be one of the first people to tell you that Earl Scruggs was The Master.
