  1. Getting waxed by the Cowboys??? Really? Cowboys suck this year... or at best they're 'inconsistent".
  2. Yes, the State Fair is over now. I forgot about Medieval Times and the BEP. Fort Worth has some excellent museums (more so than Dallas). The stockyards and the cowboy hall of fame are examples of some of the activities over that way. Dallas does have The Crow Collection of Asian art that may be of interest.
  3. For "Texas" tourism Fort Worth is better. Dallas has the Kennedy museum downtown you may find interesting. Other fun would be 6 Flags over Texas (the original Six Flags) which is in Arlington. You may want to drive by the Death Star, aka Jerry-World, Cowboy Stadium. Tours are available I hear. Food: Tex-Mex. Addison is loaded with large choices of eateries. It's also right off-of the North Dallas Tollway (don't bring coins your tags are scanned and a bill is sent to whoever owns the car). We're in Frisco which is pretty much where the tollway ends.
  4. No TV! We are 'wireless' 100% (that'd be 'antenna'). We DO have Netflix and PPTV. IMHO Netflix is still the best deal out there. PPTV is free just feed that computer (or laptop) into your TV set and you're done. Also can see new releases over the Chinese web sites as well e.g. just saw "Margin Call" this weekend. Will see "Captain America" this week. My personal opinion is that cable and dishes are owned and operated by Satan himself in addition to being a waste of money. If the movie is really, I mean REALLY, that cool of a Must See then let's go to the cinema. Otherwise I can wait a few months the flash of the week.
  5. 99 Ranch in Plano, TX (Spring Creek Pkwy and US 75) opened last year and is as big as any "American" grocery store. Mei Hua Supermarket at Coit and Park Plano,TX is Closed
  6. In Texas (D/FW) smokey.

  7. In Texas (D/FW) smokey.

  8. Yes. Take all the photos you want. Walk up to the front (as I and others did) and photo the whole lot of them swearing in. (Dallas (Irving) ICE)
  9. Cabin Management feeSeat feeSeat belt feePillow feeBlanket feeBathroom feeSmile fee"Using our airline" feeWater fee"You-must-be-rich-to-fly-so-here's-another" fee ... (you get the drift) P.S. I usually charge a fee for this
  10. I've always had the opinion that the EOR is one of the most important documents you file after your financials (income, taxes, etc...).
  11. Your age difference should not be of any concern at all. Many of us are 15 or more years older than our wives so put that worry out of your mind for now and focus on getting those documents along with a letter of explanation together and sent in ASAP. Double-check everything ... several times. Best of Luck to you two.
  12. Congrats Carl, I know CFL is in good hands with you and Kyle. Please give Donnie my best wishes and he's invited to call me anytime.
  13. Dang Griz! This is serious stuff. I hope you get on the other side of this very soon.
  14. Docs like to pull the plug as soon as they can - they can't feel what you do. I like to keep some pain pills around and always keep a few whenever I get a new prescription. That way, when something happens that takes more than IB, I have a few to get over the hump without a trip to the vet. My doc (who I've been going to for over 20 years) knows I have a stash - and it kinda pisses him off - but that's life. If he would call in a script without an office visit, I wouldn't feel the need to keep a stash. Yeah, if you've been on the pills that long it's time to get off of them, but I feel your pain. Advil does help me. I flat out told my doc I needed a stash of hydrocodone. Upon my last visit (Aug'10) I told her that I still had a few left and opted not to get another refill. I think that added points towards my ability to call and get the Rx when needed.
  15. Correct, for example in my case, neither myself or my wife had been married before, we did not write a separate letter, simply made a one line statement in the box on form I-129F, something like, "Met on line <Date>, started exchanging emails <date>, decided to visit <date>, visited <date>, engaged <date>..." What he said. I think this is a very important document.
  16. I think that perhaps legally bin Laden would've been more a headache alive than dead. But I ain't no lawyer. They took some goodies from his house and will study those. Symbolically his death is significant (IMHO). The message of you can run, you can hide, but we will find you is the most significant.
  17. Do not think that marrying will automatically mean that she will be granted a visa either. I recommend that you follow the sound advice given above. Each situation is different. We married and filed accordingly and we had no problems at all. Please see my comments below for our situation.
  18. Sorry I haven't vetted all of these yet. But I'm not surprised by any of these allegations: 1. Abbottabad is a military town, home to three Pakistan army regiments and thousands of military personnel and is dotted with military buildings. 2. The land is controlled or owned by the Pakistan Army and retired army officers. 3. The house was 100 meters (yards) away from the gate of the Kakul Military Academy, an army run institution where top officers train. 4. The maps had sections of land nearby marked off as ¡°restricted area,¡± indicating that it was under military control. 5. The compound is 8 x larger than any other buidling that would house an officer making it very high profile. The security detail and gunners on the roof raise red flags to any onlooker. 6. The compound in Abbottabad where Osama Bin Laden was killed was once used as a safe house by Pakistan¡¯s premier intelligence agency ISI, Gulf News has learnt. 7. According to Wikileaks "American diplomats were told that one of the key reasons why they had failed to find bin Laden was that Pakistan¡¯s security services tipped him off whenever US troops approached¡" 8. The Pakistan Intelligence agency ISI was the same agency that was caught conducting a wire transfer of 100,000$ to Mohamed Atta (main 911 terrorist) right before the WTC attacks thus indicates that the money trail of 911 leads right to the governemnt of Pakistan. 9. The US has given between 5 and 7 billion $ to Pakistan to assist on the war on terror.
  19. Hey guys ya'll be easy on the 'dillos. Most folks don't ever see them (alive) here in God's country and think they're just road markers. Poor critters don't see well, don't hear well ('ceptn' from the ground) and their sniffer is tuned in for bugs. They're easy to walk up on capture by hand. Now while they do eat bugs they also dig holes for sleeping and house-keeping. And it's the digging that makes them targets for boys learning to shoot a rifle and you get all sorts of encouragement to do just that. Cattle (not known for being much smarter than them 'dillos) can step in those holes and get a broken leg. That's Real Money son not a bunch of And back to subject: I was told since I was a kid that they carried leprosy and other diseases. I was told that cuz I was holdin' one by the its back that I caught.
