  1. I have read these posts and i am still someone wondering about the actual "content" of such a letter. I've read the one posted for a I-129F, but we have filed a I-130 / CR1. Content will be different. Should it be done in chronological order? Is it necessary to put information about ex-wife in this letter? If so how much? as it has been posted here many times, giving too much information can also be dangerous as it can the Consular officer more subjects for questions. I apologize for my innate inability to read between the lines on these posts, but i guess can't get it through my thick skull about what exactly to write. D If you're divorced ... when did you divorce? were there any kids? who are they with? when did you start looking for a new wife? how did you come across this lady? how often do you communicate with each other? when did you physically meet? what about her family? did you meet them too? did you do anything together? (attach photos) when did you 2 decide this is "it"? etc ... You get the drift? IMHO this is one of the most important documents you will submit. It should be a story of your lives coming together, the love that developed and the longing to be together forever. It ain't a novel. A couple of pages or 4 should do it. I personally didn't attach photos but what can it hurt? Good Luck!
  2. Actually sueing each other is a long and cherished English tradition that was encouraged to reduce the number of duelings taking place. It goes back to the Puritan time in the USA.
  3. And what have we done with the other 9 incidents involving US citizens and US companies....??? We should have castrated them!!! It ain't no deterrent but it sure does make everyone else feel good. (It does me). Stop stealing Carl's line. I was just saving bandwidth Donnie.
  4. If she heard it from one or more Chinese women then it's not only the Truth but a hard Fact that can not be overcome.

  6. Well it proves that capital punishment isn't a very effective deterrent. I mean they hung those assholes involved with the last incident.
  7. Yet another example of the customer service that the airlines provide to the peons, I mean, Customers.

  11. Maybe Candle can bring back their "dating room"?............ And it won't cost anything! A bad idea of Biblical porportion! There used to be a "dating room". It was up in the top right of the screen where FAQ's, CFL Chat, Gallery,.....etc. are located. No one can verify my claim. Don says he does'nt remember it. I guess the only one who could verify it is PJ. Oh well, it used to be here, (along with the Russians),.... I think you are right, Sammy. There was one for a very short time that P.J. put together. Tony might remember it? Yep. Tony might. That's what ran me off! The "Dating Room". I was in a big hurry searching out something to do with K3 when I came across Candle. It caught my eye and I did pause in my search to open it up but when I saw "Dating Room", I quickly thought it was just another Chinese match-making site and promptly left to continue on my K3 search. And as they say, the rest is history. I bet Candle wasn't up a week when I saw that. I remember PJ having a link to a demo dating site ... I remember my wife tearing my @$$ out about how all CFL men are looking for girlfriends on CFL too.

  14. What he said! It also underscores that they (GUZ) have their mind made up and don't want to be confused with more evidence during the actual interview if that's what is needed. It's a delay (and a pain in the ...) but you will prevail. Give'em exactly what they want and exactly the way they want it.

  17. Your right Rob, a "pure democracy' is just a theory. Is anything ever pure? Rousseau was one of the sources for the development of the Declaration of Independence, and also the Constitution. As was Voltaire, and the philosophers of the Scottish Enlightenment such as Hume, and Smith. Also John Locke who was influential upon Rousseau and Voltaire. The founders also were well read on Greek democracy and the Roman Republic. I still think we need election reform. Was it Churchill that said something like "democracy is a terrible form of government ... except for all the rest." {I really butchered it.} He said "Many forms of Government have been tried, and will be tried in this world of sin and woe. No one pretends that democracy is perfect or all-wise. Indeed it has been said that democracy is the worst form of Government except for all those other forms that have been tried from time to time." He also said ¡°The best argument against democracy is a five minute conversation with the average voter.¡± Thank You!

  21. You mean 1856. Such actions in Taiwan have been not uncommon over the years. Here's the "cat fight" from a few years back. Yes, Sorry for the typo: 1856. I couldn't find it but I remember the news carrying a story about our late Ralph Yarborough going after someone (in the '60s) and finding himself in a head-lock.

  23. Gosh, golly gee. Just because a fella is a little light in the loafers or limp in the wrists should not make anyone automatically think they can design or wear a dress better than anyone else. Right girls? You said it sister!
