Wifey and stepdaughter went for the AOS interview last May. Wifey got her green card but they said that my stepdaughter needed to wait for the famed FBI clearance. After waiting impatiently, like a 37 year old virgin on her wedding night, I called USIC las Thursday. Of course they gave me the "if you don't hear from us in 30 days, call back" routine. Well I checked the UCIS website today and it said her green card was approved Monday-2 business days after my phone call. whatcha think??? was it sitting on a desk--finished and forgotten about??? Betcha it was!!!!!!

Why not, I submitted mine-what could it hurt?

Most of us get through POE in under an hour. It took my SO about 15 minutes but I think they made it fast for her so they wouldn't have to get cussed in Chinese anymore????

yup, it has happenned twice to CFL members that I know of. They did everything the same as everyone else and, for whatever unkniown reason, they got a letter saying they were aproved and the green card came later in the mail. One was just last week!!

Somehow the say something nice or shutup idea sticks in my craw. If you all honestly think that GUZ is doing a good job--by all means say so. if you honestly think they are not--by all means say so. It's like i used to tell my staff--"if we all agree on everything, there are too many of us". If GZ is interested in improving there process they must ear both side-not just sugar coated butt kissing (sychofant). If we only say nice things they will assume they have got it right. I'll have to disagree with you Jesse. Although I'm not fond of religion being discussed in the forums as it will likley lead to problems, I can see the relevance as it pertains to the non-Christian SOs of some of our Christian brethren.
