1. Yeah - I think you have all the advice you need right here. 179520 I agree! She already told you. Why are you asking us? Get with the program and prepare for training. It will be coming sooner than you think. Resistance is futile.
2. Richard was that a tunnel debone (all parts intact) or cut up? Our boners at the poultry company must do at least 65#/hr of boneless breast. we use a 5 1/2 inch straight boning knife. I always used a 5 1/2 inch curved semiflex for pork lions. For steak cutting I liked a 12" narrow forschner. At home I do everything with two knives. A 10" broad (use it like a cleaver) and a 5 1/2 inch boning knife. With these two I can make anything. The important thing is whatever you use keep it sharp.
3. So is there any meaning to the online processing dates? They always seem to be off from actual processing I know of.
4. Ah training begins. Whatever Sherry wants Sherry gets. And little man Sherry wants......... Ever watch Damn Yankees? Give in.... It's worth it.
5. Trigg I have already learned the value of being wrong so I can show her that I can change if it makes her happy.
6. I thought I had everything taken care of. The kitchen was already setup for Chinese cooking and I use most of the important ingredients. Oops I missed something. How many of you have trouble getting your wife to use the pot holder? My wok has a long metal handle. I have used this for most of my cooking for the past 5 years. Last weekend my wife grabbed the handle and got burnt. I tried to explain about the pot holder hanging on the stove. Nope, that is not the problem. I bought the wrong wok . Ok so this weekend I will look for one with a nice wooden handle. This is a hint to those in waiting.
7. Sounds right. Seems things are running a bit faster than last year. That should shorten the stress time for the newbies. We all know that any reduction in stress for this process is welcomed.
8. She should have the record with her. It would have been in the envelope from GUZ. As long as she has the record nothing done before should need repeating. This is the little booklet from the hospital.
9. I thought about bringing home a heavy cleaver once but wondered how the airport security would handle it. 178650 Probably not too well if you try to bring it in your carry on. My plane was once delayed in Japan because I was bringing back bamboo and wood swords. I can understand the concern since I could easily kill someone with the wood ones. Prior to this a JAL jet was hijacked by someone with a real sword inside the wooden one. Each of mine was carefully examined to see if it could be opened.
10. WOW Paul you really found the express lane. This is great news. Today we received the appointment for biometrics. Just one month from receipt date of AOS. I hope this means we will sail through like you.
11. Best wishes! Sounds like she is all prepared. Now start thinking beyond GUZ.
12. That is what most banks will supply it seems. Does your disability income surpass the minimum requirement? That would be the critical question. If it does not and you do not have more than 5 times the minimum in liquid assests then you should look for a cosponsor.
13. Congratulations!!! You should do fine. The most often requested items at interview seem to be wedding pictures. Also photos of interaction with family. A life insurance plan or pension naming your wife as beneficiary as well as joint banking accounts seem to make a big hit at interview.
14. Talk to your bank officer about this. Each bank has different policies on writing this type of letter and what they will sign. The bank letter is required if your savings rather than income are being used to meet the minimum income for support. If savings is used rather than exceeding the minimum income requirement then savings must equal 5 times the minimum requirement. That said, I provided a letter from my back anyway along with 6 months statements and my income information just to show I had the ability to support her. It is always better to have more than not enough. I believe the more given initially, the easier it is at interview. Best of luck!
15. Wow finally something goes right. Congratulations!
16. Whatever you celebrate, I hope it is a joyous time for all of you. Happy Hannukah! Merry Christmas! Happy Kwanzaa! Whatever your beliefs and practices.......... Enjoy!!!!!
17. Whatever you celebrate at this time of year, best wishes to you and your's. Dan & Ping
18. On the I-94 there was a stamped number which was not an A type number and no written numbers except the date of departure. It seems there is a variety of ways these things are handled at POE. The number on the AOS receipt has not appeared before on any of her paper work.
19. I guess that may be the current # but I didn't use it because it was not the format that fits on the I-9 documents I use at work. The new one is the same format as the number on permanent resident cards. I hope they don't penalize her for my not using the K-1 receipt number. Anyway she is happy her new number is a lucky one she says. Maybe the format difference indicates nonimmigrant or immigrant.
20. Best wishes to both of you in this holiday season and throughout the year. Dan & Ping
21. Fill in N/A or none for K-1, this is assigned on the Receipt Notice you will receive. The A number is the official recognition that she is now on immigrant status rather than nonimmigrant. Now the waiting begins again. Well at least you wait together.
22. Congratulations!!!!! Many insurances have a 12 month wait to cover pregnancy. Get something in place as soon as you can. A simple pregnancy should cost you about$6,000. Insurance will kick in for her if there are complications. That is important because that can add big bucks.
23. After meeting your wife I am sure the question will come up. 175949 Lee it must be the Liaoning Sheng water
