Has me a bit confused. The security checks usually come after the NOA2 and are done when it getsw to the NVC. The standard answer at NVC is pretty much what you got. Are you sure that your pettion hasn't been aproved and passed on the the NVC?????

It seems this happens from time to time. They aproove the visa without looking at all their data, then they discover that they have incomplete data and 'hold' the visa, with little or no regard for the people involved, until they recieve what they are looking for.
