okay, great info, thanks, I will try it!!! 136901 That looks the best to me so far Thanx for the tip. Does it have to have the Interlink part? 136912 There are actually 6 logo's to choose from. I just picked the most popular 3. It only needs to be one of them. No minimum balance. She can use any bank that uses one of the 6 companys that are part of the network. $2 dollar service charge from my bank. The concept is the same if I wanted to use my card from Bank of CA in a bank of NY, "or anywhere you want to be..." ATM machine.

When did Texas catch up with California
Mengxin replied to obxtrainman's topic in General Visa Discussion & First Steps
Ya a pony keg sounds good right now. I'll tell you guys the secret. if you see I'm selling stocks. Buy as much of it as you can. visa versa when I buy. You see me going K3/CR1 , K1 is guaranteed safe bet. that one time in a million that shits gonna happen, I'm the guy they wrote that for. I'm working on getting murphy's law written in my name too. Murphy wrote me a letter the other day telling me it was ok to name the law after me, but I lost the letter. damn.... -
What you state, sounds like I-129F for K1, since there is no mention now of NBC... I-129F/K3 goes: Regional Visa center > NBC > NVC > GUZ , if I understood your previous 'alphabet soup' post.. 137017 K-3 goes to NBC (National Benefits Center)/MSC (no longer considered a regional service center, I believe) to NVC to GUZ. K-1 gets filed at the petitioner's REGIONAL Service center. Not NBC. Hu's on first, and what letter are we missing form this alphabet soup? acw 137020 I think your being way too technical about this "K3" thing. The point behind "K3" is short terminology for "Married" the point behind the term "K1" is "Fiancee". Otherwise, we can go off on a tangent and explain every little step of the process for the x1000 time, while the real topic matter gets over shadowed. I know your trying to help, it's appreciated. I also keep helpful links of the "K3" process in my timeline to help other too. Thanks. The 129F basically goes out the window after approval of the I-130 anyway. It's the "advantage" of the K3 visa to have two pararell paths.

TSC, THC, XTC... all take lead you to the same place. nowhere. CSC was the slowest until the reduction act was implimented. CSC started approving I-130's in a few weeks, instead of a full year +. (That was summertime last year.) By doing that, they force the CR-1. The responsibility for the K3's changed hands from USCIS to NVC. They really never "reduced" the visa back log, they just gave it to somebody else. Now they (USCIS) wants even more $$$ (like 78 million) so they can continue pushing the backlog through the system. You could probably get a pretty nice plunger or even a diamond studded mop for 78 mil.

I concur with David. He's right on. great stuff David, keep it going man, but take a break once in while. (pot calling the kettle black.)

The best way is to send it via registerd mail. you'll get a signed reciept back that they got it. Yup they got it!

I never heard of "the eight words" before. Lao Po likes that stuff, but believes in it with a grain of salt. I would have to say the weirdest way I have ever seen anybody read a fortune was when I was in France. It was closing time and the owner of the Indian style restaurant I was in poured a cup of expresso. Then he put a little cream in the coffee. as the cream was floating back to the top he started to read my fortune. Now that's freakin' weird. He didn't say anything about me falling in love with a woman from China. Don't think anyone could ahve predicted that one.

Your poor wife. I hope she has been lifting weights and eating her wheaties!!! I was gonna say video, but you included it at the end. Good Luck.

How long have you waited so far
Mengxin replied to david_dawei's topic in General Visa Discussion & First Steps
Lynn, You said March 03', do you mean March 04' like it says in your signature? Why didn't you pull the "I have a baby card" out on them? Seems to work for everybody else. Lao Po and I are waiting to have ours. Markluvshuping and I were even timelines until his wife was pregnant. She's been here for months already. I still have about 3 or 4 left. (I hope) -
Hank, Here's what I did. I set up a seperate savings for my wife under my account. Have ATM cards made. When you get it set the PIN for her and mail it. You don't need Bank of China to be yours or her's bank. The key is that the bank needs to be a part of the same network of banks. Bank of China is a part of the Visa/PLUS ATM Network. Look for this logo at your Bank. http://www.visadps.com/navs/links-04-on.gifhttp://www.visadps.com/navs/links-01-on.gifhttp://www.visadps.com/navs/links-03-on.gif If your bank has this logo, your all set. She needs money? Run to the computer and put it there. There is a $2 charge from my bank for my wife to use the card when ever she needs it. Too easy!!! Important: When you sign up for her account, just let them know what your intentions are. they'll help you out. After you recieve the card, call the fraud department and explain your situation. That's it.

That's nice to know we don't have to listen to the whole message. I thought we needed to also. The people at DOS have always been helpful and polite everytime I've called. They told me GZ requested 2nd name check three days after GZ told me they hadn't recieved the app yet. few weeks later. GZ says 2nd name check complete. waiting for place in line for interview.

ok got a K-1 k-3 question
Mengxin replied to ptcrusier333rph's topic in General Visa Discussion & First Steps
Carl, I hope your not impling that I would tell anyone to lie to the .gov. I'm just saying that it sounds. probably that he isn't married. --- I couldn't finish what I wanted to say earlier. He shouldn't raise any red flags for him self if it isn't nessecary. My wife isn't here yet either, I know better than that. Why would you put me in a position that I need to defend myself now? Thanks. I think that only one "ever" in lower case would have been enough to make your point. -
ok got a K-1 k-3 question
Mengxin replied to ptcrusier333rph's topic in General Visa Discussion & First Steps
Don't ask, Don't tell??? -
My god... I can imagine if after waiting over a year and a half for the day to talk with the VO's. that they reject a visa for not knowing my mother's 1st name? hummm,,, Have Ax, will travel??? Lao Po could give them my mom's dog's name too, if they asked for it? Now if they ask what his favorite brand of dog food is, that might be a tough one. We'll add it to the list to be on the safe side. Thanks David.

Interview/P3 Lists for the month of July 2005
Mengxin replied to Timeline's topic in General Visa Discussion & First Steps
Looking at your timeline, you are at the last leg of this arduous journey. I know you've been at it quite some time. You're almost there, Doug, and the benefit gained from all this waiting is that it builds character!............ 134970 I built so much character now that it hurts and I can't breath. I'm numb to about everything now. Thanks Man. http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons6/67.gifhttp://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons6/67.gifhttp://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons6/67.gif -
Interview/P3 Lists for the month of July 2005
Mengxin replied to Timeline's topic in General Visa Discussion & First Steps
Nooneufo amd Mark, Thanks for your hard work. I know you have been ove the timelines only about 1,000,000,000 times, but I just want to clearify just 1 more time. Technically the P3 for K3/CR1 refers to the DS-230. In my case, there is about a 3 month gap between the time I mailed the 230 to the time GZ says they got it. I am waiting P4 and still can't guess within 2 months of my interview date??? Knowing my luck, your late Nov estimate is probably still 2 months early. Lao Po has her fingers crossed for late Aug. (Me too, but it would be too good to be true.) -
Changing your printer settings to B&W will fix your 1st problem. I have also seen your 2nd problem with the free version of the reader. I had the problem with only one of the fillable forms. It was easier for me to print out a another copy of the same form from anouther site, than figure out the toned fillable field problem. You got it off of visajourney right? Try looking under "edit"> "Preferences". Good luck. Just a note on adobe: (and my case.) on the 325G, make sure to check all 4 pages for completeness. My lawyer screwed mine up badly. I told him, her address was cut off at the end of the box. (street name and apt. #) He fixed the font on the 1st page and mailed it off. After I fired him and saw the copies he sent, I inspected the forms. Pages 2, 3 & 4 still had the errors. I sent a letter to NVC letting them know about the correction. My wife never recieved the 3032 in the mail. I scanned (into adobe) the bar coded form that I recieved and e-mailed it to her. She signed it and forwarded it to NVC. Only took 1 week from China to NH.

Filing a 129 without all evidence
Mengxin replied to jim_julian's topic in General Visa Discussion & First Steps
You can always hope that the "big one" hits and your ex is on the fault line. Hopefully they could get you the documentation you need sooner. 134779 I finally left because I couldn't face spending the rest of my life being unhappy. 134817 It's no way to live, life's too short. People get caught in the trap, you got out. Good for you, it sounds like you made a good descision. Can't knock anyone for wanting happiness. -

Filing a 129 without all evidence
Mengxin replied to jim_julian's topic in General Visa Discussion & First Steps
My lawyer tried taking a shortcut with the 129F by mailing the app off to Chicago without the NOA1. "to reserve a place in line." I got proof that the app was recieved, but they never cashed the check or ever replied to the app. (even after I inquired about it a month later.) -
oh no!!! http://www.mrbill.com/MBSpinSml.gif

You got that right!!! K3/CR1 from China - No slower way to get a visa in the world. CSC is also the slowest of the 3 service centers. I pity the poor SOB, that goes that route... wait... that would be me... hey? Seriously though, I have heard you need to spend 6 months in the country before you can do DCF. If you can find her a sponsor, maybe an employment visa would be the quickest. Husband and wife are a last priority, behind students and business men. The US gov recognizes marraiges in China of US citizens. Legally.
