Hey, easy on the Californicans, okay? I can not only pronounce Ory-gun, but I can point to it on a map. It's that little suburb north of San Francisco. And all these years I thought Portland was Seattle's pretty little sister. and China is only Mainland Taiwan. http://messenger.msn.com/MMM2005-03-24_16.06/Resource/emoticons/70_70.gifhttp://messenger.msn.com/MMM2005-03-24_16.06/Resource/emoticons/70_70.gifhttp://messenger.msn.com/MMM2005-03-24_16.06/Resource/emoticons/70_70.gifhttp://messenger.msn.com/MMM2005-03-24_16.06/Resource/emoticons/tongue_smile.gif

Interview/P3 List for 4th Week of June 2005
Mengxin replied to Timeline's topic in General Visa Discussion & First Steps
David, fyi.. From that timeline in the link from Mar 05' March-----------------P3---------P4------P3 to P4 Menqxin-----------03/08/05---06/06/05---83 From this prediction, my interview would be next week. Now my interview prediction date is mid Nov. The 3/8 date came from the time that I mailed the 230 to NH. (or P3 submitted to NH date for CR1.) Now my P3 date is 6/4. (or P3 recieved date to GZ) 3 months for a P3 that is not in my hands, that is all on them. 5 months from P3 to Interview is a fair estimate right now, but back only 3 months ago the estimate was only 4 months. they're slowing down. ...but I'm gonna try real hard not to think about that. -
PLEASE EVERYONE, READ THIS!

Mengxin replied to Ross's topic in General Visa Discussion & First Steps
In Person U.S. Citizen petitioners who would like general information on the Immigrant Visa process in Guangzhou may attend an information session hosted by a Consular Officer on Fridays at 15:00. The aim of these sessions is to address frequently-asked questions and provide you with a better understanding of the process. Case specific information will not be available. Here's the reply you would recieve if you e-mailed them with the same question. I have heard of people picking them up Mondays yes. check out this link. http://www.usembassy-china.org.cn/guangzho.../iv/gzfaqs.html -
If some one gets a blue slip,
Mengxin replied to Ross's topic in General Visa Discussion & First Steps
sometimes they ask to see you jump through a flaming hoola hoop too., who knows? GZ has a link on there page specifically for the 864. It links to the state dept. website. http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/in.../info_1328.html -
Sorry to hear that. What exactly was incorrect?

ahh ha... you noticed. 1 month after giving my lawyer the paper work for the 130 and 129F, I asked him if he recieved the NOA1 yet??? I didn't get it. his reply was "oh Doug, sorry I fogot to mail it." waited another month...still no word about NOA1. left messages and e-mails with him. 3 weeks went by with no reply and not knowing what papers went where, or when they were mailed." I finailly got an e-mail saying he was away on vacation and would get back in a week. that was all. a few days later I got an RFE in the mail. my paperwork was a total mess. The CSC officer caught only 3 errors. I added about 4 more corrections on top of the 3 that they asked for and didn't catch. Included everything in the RFE. 2 weeks later... NOA1 That's how it took 3 months to get my NOA1. Now that I got the NOA1, I can mail the 129F to chicago, right? wrong! My lawyer wanted to "speed up" my case and mailed it the same time as the 130. I got confimation that the package arrived at the office in chicago, but the check for the application was never cashed. I never reveived any reply about my 129F. I even inquired about it. The lady said DO NOT refile for it. 30 went by and never got a reply, but I did get a I130 approval notice in the mail. It never turned out to be the blessing that I thought it was at the time that I got it. I'm seeing 129F's to CSC, that started after I did, getting there visa's now. My visa is still at least 3 months away. So i've sort been sour grapes lately, only because I'm jealous. I'm still happy to see anyone be united and happy with the one they love, but I think i'de be even happier to be with the one that i love even more. sorry fellas, I'm selfish like that. and sawadee, I'm just telling you what they told me. NVC said 2nd name check on the same day GZ tells me they don't have it. That's a crock of hot pot. thanks for asking and for the great information, i never heard that before. 8 months would put us around Christmas time and over 18 months for my wife's visa. yipee... Have I broken any records yet??? I am now pouring gasoline on the Adam Wang voodoo doll. if not for CFL, I might still have him for a lawyer and be clueless to the mistakes he made. Thanks for the timelines and stories everyone.

CR1's name check is being processed after the case transferred to GZ. Has your K3 name chcek done or not or still being processed? The K3 name check is processed prior to the case transferred to GZ. Maybe you are having the 1st name check of CR1? bu dong.http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons6/35.gif I know 1 thing, P3 to interview is about 5 to 6 months. so that narrows down my estimated interview date to August, September, maybe October, possibly November.

Interview/P3 List for 4th Week of June 2005
Mengxin replied to Timeline's topic in General Visa Discussion & First Steps
David??? come on man.... It's easier to blame GZ, than to admit guilt. it would be cool to see if there was a forum for VO's that wrote about how impatcient we were. They would say something like this.... "Geez, mengxin sure is slow. always talkn' this and that. making jokes about our donuts. shit, just spilled coffee on his paperwork. it's should take a couple days to dry off outside, to bad he'll need to start at the bottom of the pile again." -

Bahan, good luck man. thanks for your help Doug -
DS-3032 is the form sent from NVC to the wife (and the agent) for her to designate her agent (her husband ussually). then mail it back to NVC. My wife never recieved her 3032 in the mail. I scaned the doc that I recieved into .pdf format and e-mailed it to her. She printed it, signed and mailed it back to NVC. It took only about 4 or 5 days to get to New hampshire from Shanghai. It is a bar coded personalized form. From the link in my signature... CR-1 -Once a case number has been assigned, NVC will send your spouse a DS-3032 (Choice of Agent or Attorny) form. They will also send you a copy of the DS-3032 and a bill for the Affidevit of Support (I-864) form. Your spouse can/should appoint you as her agent by filling out form DS-3032. Note: I asked NVC about who they give the docs too? They give copies of all docs to the agent. P3 for CR1 = the DS230 Part 1 and the I-864. both mailed to agent from NVC. DS230 is mailed to NH and the I-864 to St. Louis MO. P4 comes from GZ.

Interview/P3 List for 4th Week of June 2005
Mengxin replied to Timeline's topic in General Visa Discussion & First Steps
For CR-1 to get a 10 year greencard, they become IR-1, which requires another GZ interview. -
sawadee, things are speeding up then. Whao... only 36 days??? My cr-1 left NVC on 4/12. GZ says they got it on 6/4. NVC says GZ requested 2nd name check on 6/3. whatever, I know it's there anyway.

Thanks bubba, your font was killing me. You are preaching to the choir in your signature. Dave can be the alterboy.... hehe. -
Not much from DOS today. It's been almost a month since my SO's CR-1 case was sent to GUZ, and the gist of the reply was to expect 3 to 9 months for processing. The fellow would not elaborate on anything, and kept repeating the "expect 3 to 9 months" phrase between a blow by blow account on how the electronic case has been forwarded but GUZ will have to wait for the hard copy, and package can be held at China Customs for several months, and how the name check is done. I told him that it's easy to name check my SO because her name is in two websites. I still got the "expect 3 to 9 months" reply. He wouldn't even guess when P4 will be sent, let alone the expected interview date. Weird, real weirdo answers - as in clueless! But I think it's intentional. I think there is a concerted effort to reduce the immigrants this year. Economy is not as flowery as the government stats. See http://candleforlove.com/forums/index....cb6f00bb1735047 I was tempted to say there is no smoke and mirror wmd here, just wanting to get an SO who loves freedom and in pursuit of wealth creation and spend money here in US so it will be good for US economy. you cannot expect much answer within a month of sending to GUZ... the answer from DOS is typical and expected.. You got to wait... Only way to get a straight answer out of china is to call DC at the 202 # you gave. Seems that the P3 to GZ dates are all over the place too. I think it's due to the source of information.
