  1. We just arrived GZ last week. I'm going to my cave to hybernate for the summer. ....again Gene , the great guz swammi says 110 days. P3 to 4.
  2. nooneufo, OK dude. It's been 8 hours now. WTFudge. dui bu dui? maybe you don't want to jinx your self by sharing any good news until shes on the plane headed back with you. don't blame you.
  3. I think that if both sides came prepared to the interview it would help also. If we aren't prepared we don't get the visa, If they aren't prepared, we don't get the visa. There's something wrong with that. After waiting to be with our wives for over a year, I think most of us would be ready. mike and alex both got the "we aren't ready" slip. not anything anyone could do about it.
  4. Jims got skills Way to keep the font size up while the font master is away. Your font size is absolutely stunning., by the way. Do you think my font looks fat in green? I was going to use a fuscia, maybe next time. Hey I just noticed something. My signature looks like the side of bart Simpsons head and he's sticking his tongue out. That's cool. B) He's even got a red head band on. far out man...
  5. Mark, Be pacient with them. This is their 1st time too. (so it seems.) Let them know that if they have any questions about what they need to do they can contact us via e-mail or post their visa questions right here in the visa discussion forum. If it's an urgent matter that needs to be addressed because they are sure which color slip to give away. We'll escalate up the chain to Gene, Tony or Don. Curious how long it will take the 864 to arrive at your door step. I predict that next week you will get another DS-230 in the mail with a note stating that they haven't recieved the I-864 from you yet. (you are still waiting for it.) Been there, done that, got the T-shirt. http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons6/59.gif yup, ontop of it like stink on... oh I forget.
  6. Reminds me at the end of that movie "Joe Dirt", he finds out his gf is really his sister, then later finds out she's not. He can't get his swirve on unless he thought of her as his sister. They show that scene outside the house is rockin'. She's screaming "I'm your sister, I'm your sister, I'm your sister." Oh man that's funny.
  7. Nooneufo, May the force be with you young jedi. May you rescue your princess from the powers of the dark side and return home safetly.
  8. Isn't it great that we all get to guess what the heck they want? Requirements are all in black and white. So if we follow all the procedures, file all documenmtation to a "T" and even eat our wheaties on the day of the interview, get the white slip and then have it rejected the next morning, what can we do? What could we have done better? The procedures that we have to follow say that there needs to be reasonable grounds for rejection and the reason needs to be documented. What we are seeing in reality is that the officials reserve the right to change the rules at any time. It's all in the best interest of our nations security I'm sure. It's interesting that my wife mentioned profiles of the VO's on 001. I have often thought about it. Seeing what tendencies each one has. From reading posts of interview experiances, I know which ones I hope we don't get. My mamma said life is like an office of VO's, you never know which one your gonna get.
  9. Then the embassy would be the "bat cave" right?
  10. Latino's (Mexicans) are the majority population in CA. He doesn't know anyone here that can't hook the vato up?
  11. If I owed the gov, I'de tell them "you'll get my taxes, after I get my visa. Make me wait? I teach you guys a lesson. Yup. take that!" but somehow I get the feeling that they could live without the $500 I might owe, more than I need the visa from them to be with my wife. That would still be a lose\lose situation for me. If I went to jail for tax evasion that would mean I couldn't rant about them on CFL. They'de still get the $$$ in the end, with interest. No CFL, No Love.
  12. I don't feel happy about this news for some reason. I feel angry, because it's taken too long. The priority date appearantly doesn't mean anything. So I am at the same point as a VT K1 started this year. 10 months of waiting so far, including the 2 months my lawyer cost us. Our GZ journey has only just begun. (Carpenters...he he ) Standby to standby more ranting to follow... 13. http://uscis.gov/graphics/publicaffairs/ad...ning_102402.htm I didn't make this up. Too funny. Especially the 2nd paragragh. So if I got this right, other websites that look like USCIS.gov give out correct and accurate information? The real USCIS.gov doesn't endorse that? Other websites might mislead you into believing you can get a visa. Thanks for the warning. Now we know who to look out for. http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons6/67.gifJust kidding .gov, really. http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons6/63.gifPlease don't hurt me, it was a joke, oh, owe, dough, bart!@#$%http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons6/66.gif Revised January 24, 2005 USCIS Warns of Impostor Websites The USCIS reminds the public that only Websites ending with the ".gov" suffix are official government Websites. The Web address of the official USCIS Website is www.uscis.gov, or uscis.gov Many other non-governmental Websites (e.g., using the suffixes ".com," ".org" or ".net") provide legitimate and useful immigration-related information and services. Regardless of the content of other Websites, USCIS does not endorse, recommend or sponsor any information or material posted at any other Website besides this one. Furthermore, a few other non-government Websites may try to mislead customers and members of the public into thinking they are official USCIS Government Websites. These Websites may attempt to charge you for services such as for USCIS forms that are free on the USCIS or another government Website. They may also charge you for services that you may never receive. They also do not have access to official USCIS.gov immigration job application information or to official Department of Homeland Security job listings on USAJOBS.GOV, so be wary of sending any personal or biographical information that might be used for identity fraud/theft to unofficial websites.
  14. My opinion is that if NVC already approved everything and sent to GUZ and you have interview, I would say know, but to be on the safe side, if the one you did previously did not have this years tax forms, then maybe send this along to hubby to take to interview, just in case. I have to admit one thing, your timeline really confuses me. If I understand, you are doing the K-3 and not CR-1 or the other way around. Geez Squeak, come on, Starbucks man. The rest shall we say is... history??? ahhh Starbucks and cheetos, can't get much closer to heaven than that. Harbin... so it must have been a frapichino, I'm guessing cafe moacha frapichino venti... or java chip, no whipped cream. I'm so lucky. I live only about 5 minutes away from one. Life support when you need it. Have hubby bring one for the VO, then you won't need to worry about bringing anything else.
  15. Really? You guys are the old pros, but that's not what the instructions say on OF-169 #3. Isn't every place you have lived since the age of 16? naaa, just old. oh heeaack no, he didn't just say what I thought he just said. did he?
  16. Squeak, I'de hate to see you go but I heard the weather in Mexico is lovely year round. Lings learning english so fast, spanish should be a snap. Can't see you playing hockey, so Canada's a no go. The question is what are you gonna do? Haha... Go Ling!!! And for you guys getting all on the same boat together. Don't get onbard any boat with Leonardo Dicaprio and keep your sea stories to yourself, don't need to know too much, ok? We need some cheetos up in here!!! Stat
  17. It's not real, it's still in the Matrix. You must have taken the green pill. Oh man, I just rememberd this link I saw about that. http://www.themeatrix.com/ hehe
  18. looks like a 8.5 x 11 inch paper with writing on it. There's a couple pages like that. It's gonna have you interview date on it. It's the 2nd happiest letter you can get besides the white slip or visa itself. Oh you know that already. What took you so long to join the gang? Welcome to CFL. Where the men are men and the sheep are scared. (of Trigg) I'm kidding, I am waiting for mine too. Ditto your question... and raise you one. Does both the Agent and benificiary both get copies of P4? and the survey says.....???
  19. P3 is I-864 + DS 230 part 1. I-864 comes 1st (in most cases), DS 230 is second I-864 gets mailed off your half done with the P3. hence P3.5 I didn't even use all my fingers to figure that one. hey look ma no fingers, or hands or whatever..... wait a minute here...??? http://abclocal.go.com/kgo/news/040805_nw_...ili_finger.html
  20. I needed to check myself there. I misunderstood at 1st. I sent my DS230 TO NH that day. It didn't leave FROM NH that day. What a shitty day I had today. I can breath a little now. Wo Fon za http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons6/35.gif Sawadee, When you say "same boat", you don't mean the Titanic do you?
  21. Sawadee, Thanks a lot. It figures that the day I send the final package out there's problems. I need to shake this dark cloud over my head. damn. already looking at a Sept interview time frame. Scratch that. I'm gonna go dig a hole in the ground to stick my head in now. Our 1st aniversary is next month. It will surely be difficult to smile on a day that most couples share happiness.
  22. Priority Air next day service. Some things you can always count on... Death. Taxes. The US post office. and then..... _______________ aggghh you fill in the blank yourself, you already know what I'm gonna say. I'll just zip it this time. I only know that when I estimate my own timeline , I just double it. That way anything under is a suprise.
  23. As trigg said before... "Procrastinate Now!!!" I am a firm beliver in that.
  24. Anger management 101: it's ok to be angry, it's how you deal with it that counts. I think of a quite setting near a creek in the woods. A water fall, flowers and fuzzy bunnies all around. In my hands, is the neck of the guy that just pissed me off and I am holding his head under water. aahhhh relaxing isn't it? Great advice don, it worked for me.
  25. Over the last month or so, my wife has been getting into learning about the visa process and been looking around 001. (finally ) Makes me happy to talk shop with her about the visa without having to define every term. She's all over the timelines and procedures like I am. She can really appriciate the stress I'ver been through over our visa. I mailed the DS230 to NH on March 8th. currently waiting for the P4. My wife e-mailed GZ herself and got a reply back the next day. We're just past that now. hopefully any day now. here's a quicky for you. since we're talkin about the mail, i thought i'de share a snail joke. I'm not telling it right, but you'll get the drift anyway. sammy the snail bought a car. after he got the car he painted a big letter "S" on the side of the door. when people saw it they wondered ... "why the "S" Sammy?" They asked Sammy... Is it cause your name starts w/ S? Sammy said No Is it cause your a snail and it starts w/ S? Sammy said No Then why do you have an S on the side of your car Sammy? sammy said... when people see me driving they will say "Hey, look at the that "S" car go!!!"http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons6/24.gifhttp://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons6/24.gifhttp://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons6/24.gif
