I think the OP said his wife was out of state and he was trying to save some time and find out about a re-scheduled bio appt. I understand his situation however the point is you are dealing with the the USCIS and if you give them the chance to do nothing they will do just that. What happened to him was messed up but that is what our system does best, mess up.

I was happy with the lesson, So I signed up for 1 year with 4 payments. the $6.4 they quote is a bit misguiding but is is $139.00 or $200 a month depending on which plan you choose. I got the 1 year plan with 5 lessons a week. My first lesson will be tomorrow night.

Thats why we have Chinese wives, to perfect our listening skills.

My 2cents, just bring the spouse with as well as any and all paper work up to that point and time this way they are forced to do their job, If I had not gone this route my wife would not have gotten her AOS appt on the scheduled day because what the office handed out as required documents was not what they listed on the website meaning I would have been missing a lot of paper work. This crap is no different then dealing with GUZ "Go Prepared" and hope for the best.

I love the line "to do work Americans don't want" my employer has brought in 1200 workers from Nigeria because they could not find people in the US to work on a production line for $7/hr in Tenn or Ala even here in Tx. Oh 200 of them have disappeared that would be 200 possible terrorists let into this country in the name of big corp America. Your in the same boat as MRMC an myself my wife just did the biometrics on Friday. The excuse from USCIS is "Due to the recent increase of fee's we have experienced a surge in applications so your letter may take up to 15 weeks" or in other words don't bother us. Also they say if you have not received your receipt within 30 day then to call them. Like others here when I check the case on the back of my check it amounts to nothing, when I check the case# on Biometric I797 I get below. I got a Pu er disk like in the pic on your blog my lao po's parents gave it to us last year it came in a wooded box looks very nice from 2003 or 2005 not sure, however I have tasted pu er and was never impressed with the flavor. My favorite was tai guan yi (sp) and a new one I was given a few weeks ago don't know the name.
