No, not directly at least. As long as your case is "normal", i.e., not "on hold", I see no reason why the current war should have an effect. GZ is not one of the U.S. embassies and consulates that was closed, and it is not in the war theatre. Now, if your case is one of those "on hold", it is conceivable that the agency clearing the hold might consider the war a more pressing concern. If in doubt, contact your DOS/CA official. In fact, this might be a good "excuse" that you could give for asking to speak to an official. . . . just my thoughts.

I'm afraid I have to agree with Tony on this one. "What a tangled web we weave when at first we practice to decieve." Have a serious talk with both yourself and with your fiancée. In my early communications with my fiancée, I had some questions about some inconsistencies. But after talking with her later in the relationship and knowing her better, I realized these were just cultural and language differences. Although speaks English very well, our cultures sometimes have different ways of expressing our ideas. These ideas do not always come out in English the way they were meant.

Hmmm....... You received p3 in one less month's time than us, and it took us 3 months to receive p4. Maybe you will receive p4 in 2 months. Interview will likely be scheduled within a couple weeks after receiving p4. It looks like many are now getting visas same day as interview.

Same happened to me: day after I sent out 9 faxes, including one to Pres. Bush, my fiancee got the EMS. I hope I don't have to call all those officials back and apologize.
