anyone have this problem ?
dustyone replied to dustyone's topic in General Visa Discussion & First Steps
my wife said that some one signed for it where ever there mail go,s too. -
Well I am not sure what to think about this. My wife sent p-3 to guz in dec by ems, at the time I was real happy I thought everything was going good. And after a few weeks I call to check on it and they say it never arrived there. Shan did tracking on it and we sent that to them with the name of the person signing for it. THey say give it a few days if we do not find it we will send it to her agian. So after all of feb and not being able to find out anything from there no help pay line and calls to dos . I am starting to be at a loss on what to do. Any thoughts would be great. patrick

On my first trip to china I studyed everything I could find on the internet about china and the people there. And when I arrived there I found out I should have spent my time doing other stuff. I was very happy with the real china that I found then I arrived. But everything I learned other than (hotpot) was totally not what I thought it would be.

It can be a long hard road. Hopfully mine is maybe almost over. But read everything you can here and be very careful filling out your paper work. There is notthing that will make you mad more than to see after sending some thing you did it wrong. And ask lots of questions.

\ p1 that is when the service center sends you a letter letting you know they have it. p 2 is when that center clears it and sends it to nvc. p 3 will be sent to your so in china with info for her to fill out. P 4 is when they send you the letter letting you know when the interview is.

I may have done it wrong but what I did when I filed for my wife and son to come to the u.s. was. Filed I-130 for both of them and then filed the I-129f And listed both of there names on it. And if the miss info line was right when they get here I can adjust status on both of them. Did I miss something ? patrick

why is chinese visa's alot longer
dustyone replied to danmuss's topic in General Visa Discussion & First Steps
There are many points about bring are loved one's here that is not right. Such as sending in your paper work to the office here in the united states they tell you,too and then they will transfer it to a office that is over worked and it just sits there for 9 to 10 months. I myself did not have a problem when it went to nvc lucky mine sailed right thru and was sent right on to china. So it could sit over a month at dhl's warehouse waiting for them to come pick it up. I even went as far as to offer to pay dhl a delviery fee to take it to them. ( they said they would get back to me on that one ) . But as yet it stands at about a month and a half just sitting in a warehouse in china. Your right it is very dis hearting to fall in love with some one and try hard to do right just to see the people that we pay there wages every payday take advantage of us . -
Marriage in China - K3/K4 or CR-1
dustyone replied to scott1956's topic in General Visa Discussion & First Steps
What I did was file the I-130 and the I-129f When my wife and I married. It give's you a little lead if one slows down you can go with the other. If you do Just the I-130 be sure to file for both the wife and kids at the same time. Saves problems later trying to match them up so they both come at the came time. patrick -
It may be that some people come here to get info for fly by night deals. But there are some people here also like myself that are just quiet people that do research and will ask a few questions. I am here often and have posted but I do not post everyday .

How do they make a Chinese person return to China
dustyone replied to m-coon's topic in General Visa Discussion & First Steps
I work with builders in the kansas city area and they do work with people who do not have a visia or it has run out. And from what I hear if they get pinched while they are working they get a letter telling them to be out of the united states by a date. And I have had the same people tell me they will be back in a month with new fake papers. -
Hello all I have been here just about everyday reading and learning. I am the quiet type so not much to say but I wanted to take a minute and thank everyone here for all the help I have recived. I have asked few questions but have learned so much by reading and searching thru the posts here. My I-130 is still in limbo touched three times but no change in status yet. But my K-3 was approved on 10/30/05 which is a step in the right way. But anyway I just wanted to take a minute and say thank you all for the info I have learned here. patrick

Be sure you have it translated. I ran into that problem. Had it translated here in the states and they would not take it. Had to have it translated and stamped in china.
