My wife and I was married in chongqing. We had some papers translated and went to the marriage office. Like the post before said like going to the dmv. I was asked no questions turned in the paper work had are picture taken and on are way.

I have not gone on that boat ride but if you get to chongqing they have one on the yanze river that go's to the three gorge's area that is really nice also.

Hello all I am needing to know if anyone knows some one in kansas city that can translate chinese. I had are marriage papers translated while I was in china and I recived a rfe today saying that they needed it translated agian and returned to them. Anyone know some one in kansas city that can do it for me? Really do not want to send it back to china. Any help would be great thanks all. patrick

I have had no problem the last week or so but I did have to go to there web site once and get a differt number. only had problem the one time in about a year.

I think it go's like that for a lot of them. Mine is that way also.

Hello all just returned from chongqing china where I married my wife on 3/17/05 and now back in the states starting the paper work and I am confused on this what I am not sure of is the filing fee's I am filing I-129 and I-130 for my wife and stepson do I have to pay a filing fee just once or do I have to pay it two times ?one for wife one for son? any thoughts would help thanks dusty

Hello agian all I am getting ready to leave monday for chongqing china to spend some time with my soon to be wife.And I have a question my me silly but I want to take a ring with me for her and she said her ring size was size 9 in china what would that change over to here in the u.s.? I want to take the right size any help would be a great help. thanks patrick

Hello all I have been a member now for a while and reading a lot that has helped.But I have a question My I am in the united states and shan my so is in chongqing china we are going to marry in march when I go there.But the question I have is on the filing to bring her and her son here she wants to file a I-129 while I am there said it would be faster for them to come here but if I am reading right it is the I-130 we need to file if we are married.Any comments that any one has would help I am worrying a lot about messing up the paper work. thanks all dustyone

they do have some real good deals I got a round trip from kansas city to ghounzhou china for 525.00 but have to go by march 15 regular rate that I had found was 1200.00 to 1500.00 the lady I talked to said they were just starting to go there and was giving good deals
