Dean Hall
...but at the same time a little miffed. What about the receipt? Was he messing around with her to flex his authority? or did they let her into the party without paying the cover charge? I know it was ladies night or womans day or something like that. He wanted to see the reciept for the visa? Can you explain?First, congratulations, Rick. Second, in response to the quote above. There was no messing around or flexing of authority. This is an absolute show stopper. If you do not have the visa reciept, you do not have the visa. The visa fee is paid to one of the approved banks on the list they sent her. Without the receipt from that bank, the V.O. has no idea if, when, or where the visa fee was paid.As I recall, when the clinic packaged up all of the paperwork into the brown envelope, it was required at that time. Maybe they missed it. Dean Link to comment

Is the part about providing the bank reciept explained when the P4 arrives? I'll make sure lao po has hers. Link to comment

C4Racer
Congrats.. It's always nice to hear success stories. It is all about helping families reunite. I have to wonder about the treatment of the applicants. My So thinks I am upset even when I raise my voice a little to try and get a point across. This makes me wonder if the VO's are really only trying to get a point across. We won't really know for sure because we are not allowed in the interview area. Anyway, good luck and happy trails, Mike and Lisa Link to comment
