Who is Sarah @ DOS?

Recommended Posts

It really seems like we can't make a foot forward as far as the government goes. Everytime we get some help from someone, we loss them. MH was answering all my e-mails to her office, but now she hasn't sent me anything in 3 weeks through KC.

I don't know anything about her being reassingned or anything else. I do know that she is our guardian angel who really tries to be helpful and gives very accurate updates as to where you are. She was very helpful to Sarah and me this past week, giving us updates on what was going on long beofre GZ did. I only regret that I don't know more about her - her last name for instance -so that I could write a letter about how helpful she was. Thank you Sarah!

Hi All,

I agree with Donahso on this. If a visa specialist gives us his or her direct telephone number, we don't have to right to give that number out without permission.

Having been associated with our government for the past 20 years, I can imagine that DOS is just like most other government agencies... understaffed and overworked.

I know all too well how frustrating this process is. My fiancee and I have been waiting on our namecheck since 9/2002. But, when visa specialists are assigned to cases, it's in our best interests to let them work those assigned cases, and then move on to the next ones.

If everyone who reads these posts were to call Sarah, she wouldn't have time to do anything except answer her telephone. If we overwhelm her with our calls, she won't be able to help anyone.

Best Wishes to Everyone
