robhon
In my notes that I've been keeping I wrote down that name and a number. I just left her a message but I don't know who she is... I hope she's a nice person. Link to comment
AZwolfman
In the past, she had been one of the nice helpful people at DOS. . . I heard that she had been reassigned after being "too helpful" to us. . . don't know if that is true. Link to comment
robhon
Punished for having a heart... Jeez-louise, working for the DOS must be purgatory. Link to comment

orbitalpunk
yeah, the goverment likes to punish there emplyees for being nice, what they call "too personal with the people. there is the kindest post office worker near my house and she was put on suspension for being "too nice" and "too helpful". no lie. wolf
It really seems like we can't make a foot forward as far as the government goes. Everytime we get some help from someone, we loss them. MH was answering all my e-mails to her office, but now she hasn't sent me anything in 3 weeks through KC. Link to comment
Guest R2D2
It's in the interest of 9/11. At least that is what this admin is saying everytime I turn on the news. Link to comment
chinadave2001
I don't know anything about her being reassingned or anything else. I do know that she is our guardian angel who really tries to be helpful and gives very accurate updates as to where you are. She was very helpful to Sarah and me this past week, giving us updates on what was going on long beofre GZ did. I only regret that I don't know more about her - her last name for instance -so that I could write a letter about how helpful she was. Thank you Sarah! Dave Link to comment
rocksplit
I do and would also express my gratefulness. Dave, there must be something wonderful about that name. Thanks to both Sarahs Link to comment

robhon
Thanks kind of funny because I had just told my wife a couple of weeks ago that, if it's a girl, I would like call our baby Sarah. To which my wife replied, "Oh, but it's so hard to say." Link to comment
Argyle
Hi All, I agree with Donahso on this. If a visa specialist gives us his or her direct telephone number, we don't have to right to give that number out without permission. Having been associated with our government for the past 20 years, I can imagine that DOS is just like most other government agencies... understaffed and overworked. I know all too well how frustrating this process is. My fiancee and I have been waiting on our namecheck since 9/2002. But, when visa specialists are assigned to cases, it's in our best interests to let them work those assigned cases, and then move on to the next ones. If everyone who reads these posts were to call Sarah, she wouldn't have time to do anything except answer her telephone. If we overwhelm her with our calls, she won't be able to help anyone. Best Wishes to Everyone Link to comment
rocksplit
I agree with Don too. Sarah's job still might be to just answer the phones, tough indeed. Good luck on clearance Argyle, seems long overdue! Link to comment
Argyle
Thanks for the kind words Daniel. I do suspect that there are days when it seems to the visa specialists that their job is just to answer the telephone! Best Wishes. Link to comment
chinadave2001
Unfortunatley her number is posted in other places-web sites related to visas......thats where I got it. Dave Link to comment
