  1. Especally presidential inaugural balls. At least it's still winter time right? And Trigg don't get all fancy with the spell checker now. I know you used it on the word inogeral. Any semblance to reality that the spelling of inaugural may or may not have been is purely coincidental and in no way reflects the spelling ability of this author. OR--even blind hog can find an acorn every oncee in a while Now yer talkn like a one legged man in a butt kickn' contest. Shoot Earl...
  2. Thanks, She mentioned that. The group would only be 4 days. We'll see.
  3. It takes a CSC applicant to apprieciate that.
  4. I roger every word. Don't screw up....It made me not want to send the 864. read it over and over. See conflicting problems or how the words could be interpeted differently? (And you speak pretty good english too.) At least you did it yourself. I had to hire someone to screw it up and hold on to it for me. Grass is still greener on your side as far as getting off on the right foot. As far as your fiancee being short tempered, there is a lot going on right now. Most of all, she's probably missing you. There is many differences in the cultures and the way we do things. As time goes on and you get to feel each other out some more it will get better. Been there, done that. When things get tough man, just think of Frank Riech and the Oilers wildcard game. In the words of the great Chris Berman..."and on this day, it was a reminder, that in orchard park new york, nobody circles the wagons like the Buffalo Bills."
  5. How did that Williey Nelson song go? The trucker one. "Need to get some cheetos again, Just can't wait to get some cheetos again. " 2 Months is a long time.
  6. Hey Squeak, That's right about the 1yr. period. Minor stuff compared to the other matters at hand right now. At least Ling will be able to say goodbye to her father, makes it a lot more easier to deal with the heartache. Have a safe trip Ling.
  7. I will be taking a trip to Korea soon and would love it if Lao Po could come with me. She talked to her friends about it and they told her only for business. The ticket isn't a problem, but the visa is. Is Korea naturally a difficult place for Chinese citizens to aquire thier visa for. Isn't a little funny how Chinese citizens can go to HK, Singapore, Japan, Korea, Thailand and Malaysia....but NOT Taiwan. What up wid that? I know it's political.
  8. Reason to love USC - OJ Reason to hate RJ - Rob Johnson Bills football has nothing to do with it though. Bahan Question. What the??? If a chicken and a half laid an egg and a half in a day in a half, How long would it take a grasshopper with a wooden leg to kick all the seeds out of a dill pickle? Never let a bleak past overshadow a bright future - Very nice

  10. Why did you send the 864 to your wife? Unless you need to use her assets to put you over the 125% limit of the poverty line. Even then she would be required to submit "Evidence of Assets". You sign page 6 of the 864 in front of Notary Public and send it back to NVC. I think you mean the DS3032 or the DS230, those get signed by Lao Po and sent back to NVC. It's confusing, I know. Read the links below. When does the NVC send the I-864? http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/in.../info_1328.html After the bill has been paid, the NVC will send the I-864 Affidavit of Support to the petitioner for completion. The petitioner/sponsor will complete and sign the I-864 before a notary public. After the I-864 is complete, the petitioner should send it to the NVC using the envelope provided. You are allowed to bring a copy of the original to the interview. It's acceptable. http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/in.../info_1339.html http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/in.../info_1329.html http://uscis.gov/graphics/formsfee/forms/i-864pkg.htm http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?pg=support I got this list from a trustworthy source. I won't meantion thier name, but his fiancee is interviewing tommorrow. 11. That is totally funny, what a joke... Although not confirmed, the information in the tip was serious enough to prompt Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney to cut short his visit to Washington, where he had been due to attend President Bush (news - web sites)'s inauguration on Thursday. Romney told reporters in Washington he had decided to return to reassure Massachusetts residents that it was safe to be at home. He said the four individuals being sought were not thought to be in Massachusetts but may be headed there. Mitt Romney calls his buddy's Barney Fife and Rosco P Coaltrain and says "I don't want to go to that stupid meeting." "Call in a bomb plot for me, tell them it's a dirty bomb plot. Tell them it's from Mr. Chau, yea that's it, that's the ticket. I'll get em' back for that crappy fast food last night." (He's a democrat and hates Bush a,nyway, but I'm sure missing the innaguration must be devistating for him in light of such a tragic event.) Can't wait till the public finds out the bomb was dirty, right out of his butt from the Chinese fast food he ate the day before. They are looking for the Fuki-u and Fuki-me twins from that austin powers movie. Shame he had to slander Chinese to get out of going to the presidents innaugaration. He's a Racist!!!
  12. ....and don't sweat the petty things., pet the sweatty things.
  13. Go Jason, Go Jason, It's your Birthday, It's your Birthday!!!
  14. Dear Mr Amber, We are blowing you off in the politest way we know how. Regards, Graf Zepplin I think the correct answer is 6 months. (see bottom) Amber, All I found on the 134 from USICS was this... http://uscis.gov/graphics/formsfee/forms/i-134.htm http://uscis.gov/graphics/services/humanpa...arole/index.htm http://uscis.gov/graphics/howdoi/affsupp.htm http://uscis.gov/graphics/publicaffairs/fa...eets/affaqa.htm When does a sponsor's obligation to support sponsored aliens end? The sponsorship obligation continues until the sponsored alien naturalizes, has worked or can be credited with 40 quarters of work, leaves the United States permanently, or dies. However, a sponsor or the sponsor's estate remains liable for any support or requests for repayment of benefits that arose before the support obligation ended. When are affidavits of support filed? For Consular processing overseas, applicants for immigrant visas file affidavits of support with Consular Officers on the date they are interviewed for their immigrant visas. For adjustment of status cases filed with INS, affidavits of support are filed on the date the adjustment of status (Form I-485) is filed with the Service, which will be at least several weeks before the interview is held. The affidavit of support may not be filed with the immigrant visa petition (Forms I-130 or I-140) unless the petition is filed concurrently with the adjustment of status application (Form I-485). The affidavit of support must have been completed and signed within 6 months of its filing with the Consular Service or INS. Amber, By the way were your ears burning last night? My wife mentioned about how great she thought it would be to have twins. I told her about you. Ouwwyee!!!http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons6/60.gif
  15. TYWY, I'm hearing you brother. I didn't even need to talk to anyone to get myself worked up. Just the 864 has me going in circles right now. I finally just said "ship it". There are a handful of conflicting statements between the DOS and USCIS websites about what to do with the 864. They warn about paying attention and don't screw up, but never take a look at themselves. It's no wonder they get paperwork so screwed up that there is such a huge backlog. Something as simple as the zip code to mail the 864 to NH is conflicting. The cover letter says mail to zip 123456-3809, the envelope says to mail it to 123456-3801, fed-ex doesn't even include the last 4 digits of the zip when they send it off for over night. The DS230 is still posted on the website with no notice to anybody THAT THEY CANT USE THIS FORM, ONLY THE ORIGINAL MAY BE USED. Like they wrote on thier letter for the 230 bill. http://foia.state.gov/FORMS/visa/ds0230.pdf All the letters I have recieved for the 230 or 864 say when we get the check, we give you the app. No where does it say when we get the 864, we give you the 230. On the 213A (oh, that's also the 864, by the way.) it even says, to turn the 230 in along with the 864. Big bold letters across the top of the 864 reads 213A. Tiny letters at the bottom reads 864. Sure makes sense to me. The 3032 to your wife to file choice of agent doesn't have a return adress on the document and they write in the letter to the agent, if she doesn't recieve the letter, then fax it to her, have her sign it and mail it back. If that's the case why can't she just print it off the DOS website and mail it in? Why put us and themselves through the hassle of such a meaningless document. We both have that information included in the 130 and 129F already. Add and extra box to the 130 and 129F forms if need be. http://foia.state.gov/FORMS/visa/ds3032.pdf The new HLS chief really has his work cut out for him. I wish him the best of luck. Whew!!! OK, I feel better now.... TYWY, Jim and Jason, You guys know how to get me going. (....but not at you. ) Peace and Love....., Peace and Love....
  16. Thanks a lot John! I was about to go off on another rant until I saw your post. Now I'm really PO'd and can't think straight. I'm sure our old friend, will find a new friend, kind enough to pack him some hot fudge for his birthday. Think of your happy place Doug.... Think of your happy place....
  17. John, Great work man. That's extremely helpful of you. I had been sitting on my 864 to send in with my 230 as one complete P3 package back to NVC. I learned the "hardway" (like alwayshttp://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons6/40.gif) that NVC is waiting for my 864 to be returned, before they mail me the 230. It isn't written anywhere that I could see that says that the 230 being mailed, is dependant on NVC recieving $335 AND the 864. In NVC's letter for the 230 bill they only state they are waiting on the $335 check. So, 2 weeks delayed on my part. Wouldn't have been, if I only knew. http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons6/20.gif I miss my Lao Po. I'm ready to start on another piss poor documentation rant again.
  18. Same w/ 864. 864 is always needed. 864A, only if you need help making it over the poverty line. Don't mess with my head, man. I don't need no stinkin' 864. What chu talkn bout willis? http://www.natural-creations.co.uk/dustin_pictures/812.jpghttp://www.bsa.gr/com/index/my-clipart/default/ANIMATNS/CARTOONS/people/nervous.gif

  24. Better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it. I'de rather have a bottle in front of me, than a frontal labotomy. Poor Jun. Jason! damn dude, yer stressing me out too. I'm gonna go walk around my dining room table a couple times. ...It's all good man. You crossed your T's and dotted your I's. (you did dot your I's didn't you? I heard GZ was clamping down on fraudulant's I's. They look like the letter i, but they really aren't without the dot on top. better go back and check.)
  25. Good point, but the difference is your not scimming through the boxes and boxes of paperwork and applications. It's a little easier to target one guy out of masses when you already know home boys name and where he lives. I saw some program on TV a couple months ago about how bad communications were on shareing information on convicts and fugitives from state to state police departments. Look at this board too. We are all shareing information between each other from all over the world. Cool tool huh? Amazing it isn't being used more effectively.
