  1. Thanks Dan! Got one more question. On the G-325A, under, If your native alphabet is other than Roman letters, write your name in your native alphabet below: Should I have my Wife write her Chinese name? or just sign every sheet in English? Also I need to make 4 identical copies right? Do you guys organize your forms in folders or how do you guys prepare your forms before mailing? Unless told so I would probably put everything in a Priority Mail Envelope and mail it : ) Thanks
  2. Thanks Dan..One more question. Is a cover letter needed? Do you think it would improve chances for approval?
  3. Hey, I do not need to file I-131 AP if my Wife and I do not plan on going overseas for awhile correct? Saves me some paperwork. Thanks, Vinny and Qing
  4. Hey Everyone, I am almost finished with preparing stuff to file for I-485, I-765, and I-131. All 3 I believe asking for passport photos and copies of this and that. Can I just include one set of photos and one copy of this and that ? Because it is going in to them in one package. Just wondering. Thanks, Vinny and Qing
  5. Thanks Dan! Maybe after all this I may have some Change left in my pockets lol
  6. Gonna add a few more questions but for I-131. Part 1. 1. A Number (I assume its Alien Registration # but where do I find this?) 3. Class of admission (K1?) Back to I-765. #10 Can I just use I-94 #? Thanks Vinny and Qing
  7. Hello All, I am slowly getting forms completed. On the I-765 form do I put ©(9) for #16? Do I need to fill the bottom part where it shows Signatue of Person Preparing Form, If Other Than Above:? I did help my Qing fill the form out. Thanks, Vinny and Qing
  8. Speaking of I-693. I took my Wife to see the Civil Surgeon yesterday. Cost $150 to do the entire exam which includes blood work and paperwork. I tried to question that my Wife got all this done in China and he said no it must be done. The doctor said my Wife needs one more shot of Varicella or something and that will cost another $95 or if I can find the shot cheaper somewhere else. I'm suppose to go back Friday because he gave her some TB test. My work has an onsite Nurse and I'll see if I can get her shot done cheaper here. The Civil Surgeon only needs verification that the shot was done. Guess add me to the list of ripped off people This was the doctor in Greenville, South Carolina Dr. Mohammad Rashid, Greenville Medical Care, P.A. 61 Pointe Circle, Greenville, SC 29615 (864) 286-6960 Vinny and Qing

  10. Hello All, I'm still working on AOS papers, etc... I was searching for medical records and ended opening the tube that contains my Wife's X-Ray. Is that still required? I did not know it contained her X Ray and she started yelling at me Vinny and Qing
  11. So for I-864 Part 2. Information on the principal immigrant I would put her new Last Name not her Maiden name and address is our current USA address not her China address correct?
  12. Hi, I am filling out paper work for the I-485, I-864, I-765, I-131. When it is asking for information about the principal immigrant, since we are married now, I will put my Last Name and her First Name and if it is asking for address of the Principal Immigrant, I assume it is still her address from abroad am I correct? or am I confusing everyone Thanks, Vinny and Qing
  13. I read below, For example a K-Visa holder adjusting within a year of medical for visa interview should only need vaccination portion of I-693 done NOT a FULL medical. I do not know what happened to the I-693 papers. Only thing we have left from my wife's medical examination is a little yellow book called International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis. In it shows 2 things done. TD, Varicella, and MMR. Only thing I know is during the during the port of entry at Newark, NJ the custom agent took a bunch of paper work from my wife and never returned it. I'm thinking the I-693 medical paper work is in that stack. So what do I do? Do I have to get my wife to get all the shots and medical exams again? Thanks, Vinny and Qing
  14. Hey everyone, Should I have my wife sign her name in her native Chinese characters or sign in English on all the applications? If she signs in English then she will only be printing them because she does not know how to sign in cursive. Thanks, Vinny and Qing
  15. Okay when I was filling out paper work to bring my Fiancee over from China, the address listed was my Parents place. At some point while going through the K1 process, I moved into my own place but my Parents address is still the address listed all the way to the Interview. The marriage certificate and SS# is listed under my new address. Will there be a problem filling out the I-485 form using my new address? And on the form. Do I put the main city where we arrived in the USA for Place of Last Entry Into the United States? In what status did you last enter? I would assume its K1? And before I make further mistakes. Part I. Information about you. Is Information about my Fiancee correct? Under Part 3 B I will list myself as the Spouse correct? Thanks, Vinny and Qing
  16. Sorry Dan! No I'm not another RobertH. I swear I'm not j/k Thanks Everyone!
  17. Okay, I called the probate court where we applied for the marriage license and they told me I did everything correctly. They said my wife only puts her name on the certificate not taken my last name but we are considered united by marriage. They said she just starts using my last name if she wants to but to officially change it, she needs to do that at the SSA is what they said. So you saying just apply for the I-485 using her Family name under part I not mine correct? and just wait until green card arrives to do any changes.
  18. Okay, so does this mean mine is all messed up? The court house told my wife to write her maiden name under Brides Name. So then in front of the Minister he told her to sign her name like it appears on the marriage license. In this case is her name not taken my last name. I asked him how does she take my last name, he tells me just go to SSA to have it changed. So i'm confused now...
  19. Hey Everyone, Okay, we have applied and received SS#. We also applied for marriage license and officially married. Both the SS# and the marriage certificate shows her maiden name. So she hasn't officially taken my last name yet. I believe we do that at the SS office. Form I-485 begins with Family Name (Last Name). Do I put her maiden name since she hasn't offically switched her last name yet? or should I get it changed through SS office first then fill Form I-485? May have more questions but this is all for now. Thanks Vinny and Qing
  20. Hey Thanks Dan! I called the court house and they said just need to know SS # for myself. For my Fiancee she needs her Passport. We do not need to wait for her SS #. 24 hour waiting period before we can officially tie the knot. License does not expire. Cost $45 for application. Do not need witness if we marry at the court house but it will cost another $40 or just get someone who is authorize to perform marriages. Clergyman, Priest, etc... Thanks, Vinny and Qing
  21. Hi all, I just applied for SS # for my Fiancee. We are planning to go to the court house next week to get married. What do we need? Do we need a Witness (like a friend?) or do we need someone that is certified to sign papers? I don't know or just walk in? Thanks, Vinny
  22. Thanks Again Dan! You have been a huge help through my process!
