Wow i have not posted in this section in a long time. I have a question that maybe someone here can answer. I have a good friend that has been dating a Filipino woman for about 1 year, a nurse who is here on a 3 year work contract. She has work visa. They want to get married but not sure what to do and I have no clue. What do they need to do to get marreid and how will that effect her work visa. Her employer says they have no concerns over this. Any help would be nice....even if you send me to another place for info. Thanks

Can she get mail at her home address? If so I would have it sent there. My wife got her mail at her fathers house and we used his address for all paper work. I think in your cxase it would be best if she could get the mail at her home address. It might look funny to have her mailing address at the same adsdress as her work but it still might be ok. Someone more familiar with transfers in this direction can provide better details on restrictions they may encounter at the Chinese end. It is her fathers money. he wants to help us with the down payment on the house. Why would he need to show that the money was convertedthe other way at one time?
