On the DS-156 form #39. Was this application prepared by another person on your behalf? Since I filled it out for my Fiancee should I answer Yes and fill in #40? When she signs #41, does she sign in English or Chinese? I saw these questions answered in another post but can't seem to find it. What should my Fiancee answer for #22, When do you intend to arrive in the U.S? #26. How long do you intend to stay i US? I assume #27 is Marriage. #28 Who will pay for your Trip? That would be me? Back to #14, National Identification Number. She does have a ID card with her photo that she say all Chinese have as identification. Should she input that information in or is it talking about something different? Thanks Vinny

Hi Everyone, I am visiting my Fiancee in China right now and she just received I think P3 from Embassy in Guangzhou. They ask her to complete DS230 and OF 169 I think and send back. Those are the only two forms she needs to send back and the check list is for her to gather items for the interview am I correct? I also have to help her complete DS 156 and 157. I have them in both English and Chinese. Since I am here can I help her fill them out in English? Think that is all the questions I have for now. Thanks, Vinny

Thank You For All That Responded!! Since I already hired a K1 Attorney that specializes in China, I will have to go this route. I hope I do not regret that I should have Married my Fiance in China and gone the K3 route.

Hello, An Uncle of mine who use to work in China governmental areas said I should have Married my Fiance in China so you have proof that you two are together. Also that he did not believe there was any other way of bringing her to the USA. I told him we have the K1 Visa and he wasn't sure of it but gave me his blessing and hope that all will be ok. He told me that wouldn't it be faster for you to Marry in China and then apply for her to come to USA? Also he said even if there was a Fiance Visa, China would not approve young woman leaving the Country. Got me worried! What does everyone think? Thanks, Vinny

Hi again, I am in Shenzhen, China. Where do I get something notarized here? I keep asking my lady and she tells me she doesn't know. Also per previous topic from another member, Affidit of marriagebility, Do I need this included in the beginning process when I file the I-129F, G-325A forms? or the initial process? or Do I even need this at all? Hi Everyone, My Fiance lives in a 7 story building which she rents. She is telling me there is no mail boxes. She gets her mail and uses her work address for everything. So...when filling out G-325A under Applicants residence last five years, what am I suppose to put there? Her address where she stays right now with no mail box or her work? Same goes for the I-129F form question #15- Your Fiances address. Looking for some advice. Thanks Vinny

Hello I am preparing to begin process for K1 Fiance Visa. I have a few questions. I am from USA. My Fiance is from Shenzhen, China. Certification of Intent to Marry. I know we both have to fill out one. Can she fill it out in Chinese or can I fill it out in English and just have her sign in Chinese?! Does the Consulate in Guanzhou, China have pre printed forms where she can just fill in her name and sign? G-325A Can she fill this out in Chinese and do I need to have someone translate it?
