  1. Fully agree with Waster. Keep in mind American immigration is in shambles, even more their websites. CGI Stanley is the same Canadian outfit that puked on us olamaNOcare. Steer to the course. Your interview is scheduled. Make sure your spouse brings a printout of that letter, the DS-260 and other supporting docs
  2. Okay, a bit of a challenge? There's a panda in the picture; where?
  3. Speaking of puzzles, there is something unusual among these snowmen. Can you find it? http://i65.tinypic.com/16i5lj4.png
  4. Thanks RandyW, and also congrats to whoever Jesse is So this is NOT Jesse again! Confused. Not Jesse. Just someone trying to draw experience from experience.
  5. It's anti-China without doubt. The vast majority of Chinese folks I know in my six years in China absolutely love their country and are fully patriotic. They don't take kindly to folks like these whose intent is to bash. Too much attention is paid to hollywood groups and entertainers when it comes to China, but it plays well to a gullible public for sure. Here's some feedback from folks who actually went to the propaganda affair and paid the huge fee to help further their agenda. http://i65.tinypic.com/33ykklh.png http://i67.tinypic.com/oa3jlu.png http://i63.tinypic.com/2vd43mc.png http://www.yelp.com/biz/shen-yun-performing-arts-cuddebackville?sort_by=rating_asc
  6. If you hear of a friend or acquaintance who is considering attending a Shen Yun concert, please investigate why you should encourage them not to go. This is an anti-Chinese propaganda group born in New York from the roots of Falun gong.
  7. Wow, thanks Warren. I was freaking this morning after seeing that so you've really blessed us with good news. My wife also confirmed what you said with Eunice in China. Congrats to you and your family on the successful interview. My wife's interview is January 5, so we're sitting on pins and needles now
  8. My wife has a CR1 interview scheduled early next year and finished medical check today. I haven't looked at the CEAC status site since the case was transferred to Guangzhou, but just checked it and it shows the case is in administrative processing. Is this normal before the interview?
  9. I hope everything went okay for them. He may not have access to the Internet wherever he is right now. Fingers crossed.
  10. What is the going rule of whether an original signed copy of the I-864 and supporting documents is required for interview or not? The NVC has an electronic copy. I've seen a little commentary on this but unable to find a government documented source that stipulates a requirement for original financial documentation from the petitioner. From the beneficiary yes. Any thoughts?
  11. Suggest not getting hung up on paperwork. Tourist visas are much easier to get today than even a few months ago. You can try getting one for her and bringing for a visit. See how it goes. If you decide to be together then marry and file I-130. Avoid all other paths. Fiance visa is volatile and unwise. Again, you need to learn whether this girl has the metal to make a cultural quantum leap. And you need to learn just how much of her whining you can tolerate. If she truly wants you then she will show obvious signs that she can make the transition without excessive hand holding. Work hard not to force it
  12. From Eunice: Step 1 You need these documents to enter the consulate: 1. Your passport. 2. Applointment Letter. 3. Document delivery address ( you log in the account with CGI Stanley, http://www.ustraveldocs.com/cn_zh/index.html?firstTime=No Tel: 020-83909000 Update the information, choose "IV Address". If the barcode of your old DS-160 is still on the confirmation page, you need to call them to delete it. Tell them "This time it's CR1, not B2". Print the confirmation page - you need it when entering the consulate.) Step 2 Chinese staff will collect these documents from you. 4. I-864担保书原件,I-864, original copy. 5. 税单,2014年,2013年,2012年; 1040 with W2 for 2014, 2013, 2012 - photocopy. 6. Confirmation sheet of DS-260 7. Notarized birth certificate. 8. Notarized marriage certificate. 9. Notarized divorce paper. 10 Notarized No Criminal Record 11. The 1st page of your passport and copies of visas, entry/exist records. 12. Two American passport photos (50mm x 50mm, white backgroud) Step 3 Consular officer will interview you for a bona fide relationship. Get these documents prepared. 13. Photos of you two together and you two with family and friends. 14. 他的护照复印件,中国签证,出入境记录,用过的机票,登机牌。 Copy of Petitoner's passport, Chinese visa, entry/exit records, used boarding pass. 15, 你和你老公沟通联系的证据,如聊天记录,电子邮件,电话单 - 聊天记录和电子邮件,每个月的打印3到5张就行,不用打印太多。 Evidence of communication. 任何沟通联系的证据,包裹单等。 Usually consular officer looks at your photos and let you pass. When you speak English they may not drill on the case. If they drill deep, consular officer may ask about the ex wives, why Petitioner divorced his ex wife, where are the ex wives, social security numbers of the ex wives.
  13. Keep good records of all communications, restaurant visits with photos and receipts, travel together, boarding passes and so on. Save them and scan them to a location you can easily find again. Avoid fiance visa, just say no. Keeping good records of your relationship will ensure I-130 marriage visa success. If you want to marry your first visit then do so. I disagree with those who suggest not doing so. You're an adult and can marry whomever you want whenever you want; just keep good and comprehensive records. Good luck Regarding whether to marry now or later should not be your concern. What's most important is to be aware that the majority of marriage based visa relationships end in divorce.
  14. Do NOT go the K1 route. Way too risky. If you intend to marry her, then go to China and marry her and return home and file an I-130.
  15. Given our proximity to the invasion happening on the southern border there are quite a few who think political correctness supercedes the first amendment. They aren't interested in dissenting opinions much less truth. I never really suspected candle of being infected as I run state of the art protection always. Candle never once triggered a blip. Hope to see wawsters reply about the letter method.
  16. That's it. Thanks Randy. Incidentally, my company blocked Candle as a dangerous website infected with viruses and malware. I don't know if they have evidence of that, or whether it was blocked by an individual for other reasons.
  17. Can a mod clean up my post please. I am not able to do it from my mobile.
  18. Congratulations on your success thus far. I noticed one of your previous comments said to watch the CEAC site AOS fee status for when it changes from paid to N/A as it may be an indication of case approval. Our case just changed this morning so fingers crossed that my wife will get her interview letter soon. You mentioned you received a letter. Did you get via US post office or email? Did you wife get a hard copy letter?
  19. The review clock doesn't tick-tock at a normal pace, and won't begin ticking until ALL paper work and forms are submitted. Those include, but are not limited to: 1. Choice of agent (DS-261) 2. AOS and IV Fees 3. DS-260 online form 4. I-864 and supporting paperwork 5. Civil documents, including applicant birth certificate, divorce certificate, police certificate, passport style photo, marriage certificate, and other documents as appropriately noted in the website here: You're best off to submit all the paperwork attachments in ONE package in ONE big fat email, but less than five (5) megabytes (MB) in size. That can be done if you save to PDF using Adobe Acrobat and then use the File | Save As | Optimize PDF option. The NVC claims on their website that not sending everything in one single email will delay the processing. I did NOT do so, and therefore I have to wait a little longer. http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/immigrate/immigrant-process/documents.html
  20. Wow, I wish I was still living in China. This is one bridge I need to visit for sure! http://i61.tinypic.com/o60lfd.jpg http://i60.tinypic.com/2mhfp1k.jpg http://i62.tinypic.com/ve9dz6.jpg http://i61.tinypic.com/2rz2o8g.jpg http://i60.tinypic.com/vhq3o3.jpg http://www.businessinsider.com/haohan-qiao-bridge-opens-in-hunan-china-2015-9
  21. That may have worked, but I would not recommend it. The better choice is to always be on record as having made the choice from the beginning and having a clear record of that choice in an email and a reply from the NVC as I showed here: http://candleforlove.com/forums/topic/48160-cr1-electronic-filing-processes/?p=625068 This particular thread pertains to electronic processing for CR1, and what the NVC wants and recommends from its customers. The best way to know what they want is to read it directly from their website, which appears here, and always remember to use the barcode cover page with all email communication with the NVC as noted earlier in this thread.
