  1. The guy that owns Amway has 5 three-story houses on the ocean front for him, his wife, and family. He bought 5 brand new Yamaha HO Jet Ski's from me when I was in business. He seemed to be a nice guy and his wife was the best.
  2. That is fantastic. What they do when there is an excess of rain to keep everything from just overflowing and the whole thing just washes away? I know that some are like 1,000 years old so they are very good at this kind of farming.
  3. It took my wife about 3 years to get over the hot water thing. So now it is history.
  4. I don't know if it will ever happen but we never thought we would go to the moon either and look how quickly that happened. Interstellar travel will never happen I don't believe because of the speed it would take and at that speed things as small as an atom may become a problem for the hull of the ship.
  5. From what I gather from this guy is that we are working with what we can see. For all, we know the universe maybe 5. 10 or maybe 90 times larger or perhaps infinite than we think it is. Of course, there are other theories too, the string theory, multiverse theory, etc. All that we can see is what light has reached us traveling at the speed of light from its sources. That one galaxy that is the furthest object that we can see maybe the limit of what we may ever see. If the universe keeps on expanding at the present rate the only galaxy that humans (if there are any) will be able to see will be Milkdromeda. The universe is expanding at the speed of light so the light form whatever is beyond what we can see maybe all that we will ever see. I was hoping that the Webb telescope would be up and operational by now to find out if we can see anything else further out.
  6. It's a vast place out there all right even the distances between the asteroids and comets in the Ort cloud are very far apart. Nothing like it is shown in the videos.
  7. Randy, this answered a few questions that I have had but of course, opened many more questions. I thought that you might like it even though it is a little old.
  8. Yeah, I still got it and I am trying to do exactly the same thing. I was just telling a couple of the other guys about it. She says that she doesn't like it cause it makes her feel claustrophobic. I told her to just stand it. She would get used to it. :victory: :victory: The old Caddy is out of warranty now and you know what those dang dealerships charge. I had a small piece of the passenger seatbelt to break off and they replaced it. $875. But it was on their dime as it was still just under warranty by about 2 months.
  9. As long as money is involved China will never own up to any wrongdoing and try to cover things up and not accept any help for fear of disclosure of wrongdoing. This is not the first time you remember. But, I do wish we could get along better but as long as China has it's sites set on being the top dog it will never happen.
  10. I am having trouble believing that especially since I just read that 1,500 new patients have popped up in about 3 different cities. Maybe it is true. I hope so that would give us more encouragement. But I kinda believe the CCP is reporting that to try and embarrass the US. Just my two cents worth and the wife too. She told her parents that are drinking their kool-aid that as long as you see Xi and all the government officials wearing a mask they should too. Kinda makes sence don't you think.
  11. I have never been anywhere except Beijing, Tianjin and a small-town South of Beijing. The wife is a skyscraper hugger. The wife became a very influential businesswoman for a very large company and got the big head very quickly from all of it but it soon lost it's lackluster and that is how she ended up here in the country in the USA.
  12. I knew them ole boys was a getin in deep do do too. But you could not tell them anything and a couple of us here tried to talk to them but they just keep digging the hole deeper and deeper. When you get a little bit of fame and it goes to your fat head ain't that usually the way it goes? Good to see you ole boy. Glad you ain't pushing up daisies yet. How are things in Pensiltuckey?
  13. Yep, when crude takes a dive it takes several weeks for it to get to the pumps but you let crude prices rise and the prices at the pumps will increase immediately. Wonder why that is?
  14. My grandfather had 3 apple trees that had small yellow-colored (golden delicious color) apples on them. They were delicious and were perfect for canning. Delicious either way. Both of them passed away and I continued taking care of the place until I went into the Air Force. They died while I was away and the place grew up. The house shingles failed and the whole place went to hell. I was so pissed when I got back home. It was a nice house. I tore what was left and made a small storage shed out of it which I still have. It was a shame about both. I have scoured the area around her but have never found any like them so I guess they were the last of that variety. My mother looked too for 40 years and never found any more of them. Nice refreshing article.
  15. I am with you guys on almost everything you have said. I really liked the ole boy to start with until this virus erupted. I think he is still pissed that he could not get back to Canada or the USA.
  16. The old CEO begrudgingly did it. He said something like. Are we going to make food or not?
  17. "I like the life in China vids, but when I feel I'm being propagandized, it turns me off." I hate that too especially when it is done so very obviously.
  18. The info that we get here in America says that they were handling the virus on a level 2 containment and that there were many infractions in how it was handled. That was reported by a Chinese person that was working in the lab. Please don't make me find that article I am to old and to lazy. Just take my word for it.
