    I am glad that I was able to start my wife's own business. She does speak English and types 65 wpm so she could have gotten a decent job I do think plus she has a Masters's Degree in Economics. Not many of those jobs here in a small town though. Over the last 21 years, it has worked out way beyond our expectations.

    When I got the first shot I had a little shore arm for one day. When I took the second shot I was sick for 3 days. The wife had a much harder time. The second shot she was sick for a week.

    Hi AZ is there any chance you have heard from ole Mick privately (telephone, email)? We all knew he had a very bad ticker but would love to know what happened to him if he is still around. I am assuming the wife got her citizenship.

    No problems in our neighborhood thank God. Everyone treats the wife very well. The only time she had a problem was when a black lady jumped the line right in front of the wife and had a lot of unfriendly things to say to the wife. The wife never said a word but when she told me about it I went on the look for this lady but never found her. The wife needs to grow a pair I think.

    It is not getting any better but the wife says that they were dancing in the streets when Trump lost. I don't know how to take that except they have him in their pocket. I've read some things. Perhaps they think that Xi can take advantage of Biden but for the time being China is ecstatic. We will just have to wait and see what happens.

    The latest update on the predicted terrible storm has it going into the Gulf of Mexico. Hope that holds true.

    They are all doing it. The little village that I was stationed at when I was in the AF in the northern part of Canada has a newspaper and I have kept up with the news there all these years. When I was there it was about two pages. Now it is about 14-16 pages. Then bam I sign in one day recently and they are wanting a subscription fee. I guess I won't be viewing the news from there any longer.

    I just found out tonight that there are two in our strike zone but number one is most likely to go into the Gulf. The second one not so much. Our local weatherman says he thinks that the second one will cut across the southern tip of Florida and go into the Gulf too. BUT he is seldom right. He is a transplant from Virginia and doesn't know much about hurricanes. Other forecasts for it say it will skirt the east coast about 100 miles offshore but here is the kicker they are predicting it will have 240 MPH winds when it gets off the shore of North Carolina. Gonna be watching that one really close. Just bought a whole house generator and it is still in the garage in its box. It that 240 MPH one comes in here we won't need a generator. We will need a new house and everything that goes with it.

    It not only affected their parents it affected them too. Especially most of the girls. I remember a person on this forum saying that her father hung her from a tree limb with his belt. Two physiatrists went to China and spent 15 years studying the effects on mostly the girls.

    So glad you came back. We miss you too. Perhaps now you can come by more often. There are almost none of the old guys here anymore. We are getting scares as hen's teeth. Stopped drinking have you? Me, you and old Dennis too. Guess what the boss is MAKING me gargle my throat with every time we leave the house. "Everclear" that stuff is worse than turpentine I tole you. I swear I am gonna lose my teeth.

    I do so wish I could go there. The only time that the wife ever went back was about 12 years ago and all she wanted to see was those skyscrapers in Beijing. I told her "darling you don't own a damn one of them why are you so crazy about them." No answer.

    I am trying ole buddy. The hearing loss was due to impacted ear wax from raming those hearing aids in there 4-5 times a day. I have never had any trouble with ear wax before so I was thinking all kinds of terrible things. Broke a foot? Who's ass caught it? :sweating_buckets: :sweating_buckets: About 3 years ago I was coming down the stairs and had only socks on and you know how they kinda slip down on your feet, well I stepped on the toe of one of them and took a tumble down the stairs. I was so stunned I just laid there and tried to determine what was working and what wasn't. It turns out I broke both feet. The wife didn't believe me until she saw the x-rays. Yep, we just ain't getting any younger. You can bet you hind parts I haven't been back up them stairs. I have been looking for Ole Mick. We all knew how bad his heart was and none of us have heard from him in a year this month. Have you heard anything at all? We have checked his FB page and nothing, Still think about ole Pop Corn Sutton often. I guess I always will. I do miss seeing him and talking with him. I sure wish I could get some of your shine er um hand cleaner. The only one of the side of my family that I knew that made it suddenly died from his cancer treatments and now I don't have a source. You know you don't just drive up to a dudes door and say can I buy some bootleg liquor. May just get shot through the door. It did happen here in the 1950's.
