  1. My wife said when she first came here that Chinese people can not live without rice and I had to buy a 25-pound bag of rice. Then she saw on some nutritional site how much starch and calories that rice had in it and she has never eaten a grain of it since. Gave the rest of the bag to a friend of mine. That was 20 years ago.
  2. Yes, entertainment, but the point he raises is about the 5 strains. I haven't been able to verify this anywhere else. Even if true, it wouldn't prove that they came from the US. But the Fort Dexter closure is verifiable, as is the spike in viping illnesses. https://www.nytimes.com/2019/08/05/health/germs-fort-detrick-biohazard.amp.html The conspiracy theories leave holes in their sequences.I'll leave it to the scientists to sort out. Gweilo60 is about the last person I would listen to for scientific advice. However, I really enjoyed his Day 1-4 videos, and the video before that where he traveled back to China. Reminded me of his earlier videos that I was a huge fan of. Just showing things they way they are... Anyways, looks like he's back to the conspiracy theories on Day 5. Now I see he has yet another "What the world can learn from China..." video up today. He must've deviated from the script at some point in the past week and his CPC bosses whipped him back into shape today. I'll watch these vids during my daily workout tomorrow... Here's a little more information on what happened with our friend Gweilo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iPrnli_jw3U&t= Makes sense now why his next two videos were the same old pro-China anti-west ramblings. If you can't tell it like it is I don't want to hear it.
  3. Not me for sure. I'm old but I still have some living to do if I am allowed.
  4. Same here. Might as well for the CCP to give him a card. I almost cut him off 2/3 through the video.
  5. I don't know Randy. To much politics involves and then there is the blame game involved too. I don't know if the truth will ever come out or if patient zero will ever be found. I have read that Chinese virologist was concentrating on a 57 year old shrimp vender at the Wuhan market. She had been to a hospital and they gave her some pills and she did not get any better so she went to a larger hospital and they admitted and treated her with what they called some very bad disease. She returned to the market after recovering and continued selling shrimp. Then they said that she was probably the one that started it there however she was not patient zero. A 70 year old man had it before her that never went to the market. They were thinking that if they could find the source of his infection they thought that they would have it nailed down to the origin but have not as of yet. And on it goes, Anything is possible I suppose.
  6.  This has nothing to do with the CV-19 . About a year ago the wife went into a restroom at one of the local Wal-Marts and cane out telling me that there was a Chinese lady in there washing her credit card with hand soap and then drying it off with one of the air dryers. I am catching hell over this virus thing.
  7. Greg that would be the 64,000 dollar question.
  8. Who knows it is China. They use to extend them such a warm welcome back to the motherland but time change I guess.
  9. You will be quarantined in China for 14 days at your own expense but if you go several months from now it may not be that way. You guys may have already discussed this. I didn't take time to read all of the post.
  10. Not much of a fan but "Only Time" is pretty good. The wife loves her.
  11. Yep, you had to wad those nice slick shiny pages 3-4 times to make them soft enough and rough enough to get the job done. I told the wife that if we ran out I would cut some short sticks off of a dead Dogwood tree in the back yard for her to use. That didn't go well and got me on a goose chase to at least 8 stores looking for tp. I will learn to shut up someday I guess.
  12. I read a post that before Wuhan was locked down thousands fled to Italy.? The article was leaning to that as being one of the factors as well as what you have commented on.
  13. I found the videos Randy but I am sure the post have been deleted it was so long ago and it is really not elevent anyway. Anyhow that is when I unsubscribed to them. Asses think that they know everything about China and their laws.
  14. READ FIRST: There was some post made on here about the subject too. Matt was actually on here asking questions about visas for his wife at the time. Randy has had a Chinese Green Card for years before these guys even came along with their know it all about China and Chinese law. attitude. The first one is the beginning of it so look at it first. Pay attention to the references of "Green Cards" Larry To add that before these two clowns came along we had a guy here named Bill, if I remember correctly, and he was kind of a big shot with some international company and he had actually become a Chinese Citizen. Even showed a picture of him setting in the same box at the Olympics with the President of China with a red circle around his picture. I never saw Bill's citizenship papers but he seemed to me to be a very reputable/knowledgeable person.
  15. I am sure it is still up but I do not remember the title of it but it was about Chinese Green Cards. I'll look for it.
  16. I like everything you said. I unsubscribed from them about 2 years ago because of a disagreement between them and Randy and both of them jumped on him and made a video about it. They both were wrong.
  17. I have been living exactly like that for 20 years now.
  18. They certainly could use a makeover. At the very least sanitize the place after closing and everyone has left. The meat should at least be screened from flies if using glass is to expensive.
  19. Some really good stuff there. Been there before. But you know it is kinda like we use to say in the fire department. "You can accumulate "50 atta- boys" and "one aw-shit will wipe them all out."
  20. It will take time and perhaps a long time. Nerve damage of any kind is kinda unpredictable. Take it easy and keep on going that is the secret. You remember me telling you about the nerve damage problem in my feet well they have gotten much better and bother me very little now. If you remember it started at about the same time as your problem did. Now I have broken the metacarpal in my left hand of my little finger. Don't get well to fast because with my experience there will be something else them. :sweating_buckets:
