Our daughters birthday is April 20. That really is a reasonable date for us.. That would be fun! It was for us, good luck................credzba!!

Well, Today is day 90 for me. Not opened yet. I guess I will be ok If it's on my birthday, March 26. We got our visa on daughter's birthday and if you get your P-3 on yours?? Well it could start a whole new trend!! Oh Roger????????? Yes, how did you, Rob, and Amy know !!!???? B) Tomorrow is my birthday, Friday is Lao Po's, and Monday is our daughter's.......I hope GUZ is monitoring this frequency !!???? Hey Roger, very nice, happy birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! B)

If you are working in China, their is only one legal visa to work on the "Z". You need to have been hired by a company and they will/should apply for the visa for you. Sounds like you will be teaching english most likely, work for non citizens is legally restricted to certain areas. (things locals can't do basically. it is unallowed to take jobs away from citizens or some such.) My advice (and what I did) come on a tourist (L) and look around then decide what and where you are going to be doing things, ad switch visas later. BrandeX, let me welcome you to CFL................... Also it sounds like you have some knowledge in getting a teaching job in China. I would like to hear more about this from your point of view and knowledge. Me too Corbin, it might be my retirement plan some day??

They never even asked us this one, and lately it seems to not be asked for unless it is because of an over-come appointment. Good Luck!!

If you want to save some $$$, go to your local library and check out all the ESL tools they have for free. It also might down load for you, who knows??

CONGRATS!!! I still remember how THRILLED I was when DOS told that my case was finally opened. (I think I almost cried, but I'm a girl. =P) Hey, I got the great news ON my BIRTHDAY. GUZ seems to like giving out birthday gifts. Didn't Mark's little daughter got hers as well?~ ;-) Roger - is your birthday or your honey's coming up soon? =P Yes Amy it was my daughter's birthday on 3/13/2008!! The I-Pod I got here when she comes here will seem small next to the visa she got in GZU!! They just asked if she enjoyed going to Thailand during Chinese New Year!!

Yeah, this is a lot better than the earlier statements/outlooks on when we would receive the checks. I have direct deposit and a low (last two digits) SSN !! B) This will just about cover the large % of the one-way airfare for Lao Po and daughter in June !! Nothing that I can do about Lao Po's ITIN before she arrives, but I do have two children from previous marriage on my 2007 tax filing, so I should see $900 based on the attached info from Dan. Same here big guy....................in Illinois I think we are getting $901.00 B) B) Make sure that you spend it like George Bush wants you to. He does NOT want you to save it! No problem, going to Roger's house in LA for a month or so!!!

Thanks tsap seui and Roger............... B) Yes the funny part is my start date is really May 21, that was right at the time that Nebraska quit doing K-1's and we got shipped to CSC. It cost me about a month or so, officially we started May 21, 2007. The girls will get the visa in a few days, then I go to HK and get my women before the end of the month!! Hey Jeff, just a note on this subject!!!! My new daughter attended with her Mother, she is coming at the same time though. They only asked her if she had been out of China before? I am surpried by the question, and she of course answered yes. Thanks for the quick replies! Has anyone ever compiled a list of things to bring for K2 AOS interview? I'm not aware of anyone putting a K-2 specific list together, I would say that a large percentage of K-2's share their interview with the K-1 visa holder, the follow-to-join cases are much less common. With that in mind we took everything we filed for K-1 and K-2, plus the items mentioned above: School report card Proof of Health Insurance Income tax showing child as dependent Copy of Library Card Copy of State ID Cover of Lego Magazine addressed to our son Drawing son made of home and family Family picture, seen in my profile. And they asked for nothing, I tried to get the IO to include the picture our son had drawn and apparently he is childless as he didn't understand the importance of it or the heart of an 11 year old boy. A kind person would have accepted it and made small talk with our son and made it seem important, shoot he could have kept it and discarded it after we left. Truly the K-2 interview for a child is pretty much a non-interview interview, but they do have the ability to ask for evidence of your relationship with your wife, so take everything. We also took the registration for a car we purchased together that wasn't included at the K-1 interview in the event they wanted to see more ongoing evidence of relationship with my wife. But like I said, they wanted nothing other than to consume our time without wanting any additional evidence. Maybe a silly question, but will deal with it soon enough! The Mrs. AOS interview and K-2 are not the same day??

Thanks! A little encouragement goes a long way. B) I know. I probably couldn't deal with an agency that cares less about its clients.
