  1. This who I am using, good price and friendly service!! They have this new form already!!
  2. They will need your A number and if you have applied for SS# but do not have yet, answer applied for!!
  3. I-693 (for a full medical exam, usually in Guangzhou) or the I-693A vaccination supplement are provided by the physician and submitted in a sealed envelope. If the Guangzhou medical exam I-693 is less than 1 year old, you do not need to submit a new one. This new form is a combination of both, the medical and vaccination form!! My civil surgeon told me that he was instructed by our Uncle this is the only form they would accept now!! George, you might be in under the wire??
  4. http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/I-693.pdf Here is the form, dange women wanted to know how to say potato!!
  5. For all of those doing AOS or getting close to it, there is a new I-693 form. The new one is (5) pages and requires some new information on it. The new form became effective 4/02/08, and the old form is no longer accepted!! Mark and family!!
  6. Jeff put them in your treasure chest like we did!! Well , the thing is! She forgot to bring them Will she need them for Bio? Jeff, well a trip back to the promised land then!!!
  7. Thanks for the picture, we hope to see it as part of our next trip!!
  8. Ask your Mrs. if she is here how her family handled her leaving and you will know the answer!! They pay respect, honor the family and then move on. When we put my Father to rest my Mom and I felt like we were buying a car at a lot instead of paying respect to him?? My Mother then pre-paid her entire funeral so we could enjoy her life and all who paid respects!!
  9. Jeff put them in your treasure chest like we did!!
  10. Only hand books for CO are English and Spanish, that does not mean that the test is only English or Spanish. http://www.revenue.state.co.us/mv_dir/wrap...?incl=handbooks NY handbooks are like that Eng/Spa but Yu was able to do the written test in Chinese. You need to ask your DMV Same as in Illinois, find the right person at your main DMV, not the local office. Somewhere in the state they will give you the test in Chinese. If they do in normal Illinois they should there??
  11. For us that have our tourist visa already do you think we will have a problem getting into China without having a hotel reservation? Should I have her send me an invite to visit and could this be done by email? I will also be entering China via Hong Kong. Hey Ironman, just flight itinerary and hotel reservations, you will be fine!! Did it the last 2 trips and no snags!!
  12. Good story Tom, reads like many here, I skipped the Russian part though!! Good Luck!!
  13. Mark. You got a Chinese version of the Illinois manual online? If so, do you have the link? No sorry Dave, gave feng the State of Washington version. The only place in Illinois to take the driving written test in Chinese is at 99th and King, that is what I was told anyway??
  14. I have always listed a hotel, not always stayed there and no problem. But that thing going on this summer seems to have an "effect" on things!!
  15. These guys always have done a good job for me!!! http://avschicago.com/ I also have used AVS for my last two visa's...but when i called and talked with them one week ago about getting a new visa, they told me i cannot get a visa without first having proof of round trip tickets already purchased and proof of hotel reservations for the duration of my stay.....they told me there were no exceptions to this new requirement....these restrictions went into effect April 14th, and will be in place until sometime in August when things return to normal....so i will be looking elsewhere.... My current visa is good until 18Sept08 then we may go back during a holiday?? So, Steve let me know if you find a cheaper and better service!!
  16. Heck I had more trouble in Denver then China!!!!
  17. These guys always have done a good job for me!!! http://avschicago.com/
  18. Bank not too many problems, western union is 10k a transfer at most locations!
  19. This is one of the lessons that I learned from this incident. After telling my wife about what happened, my wife said I had so many easy "marks" to identify myself as a "non-local"/"visitor". I just never imagined this would have happened in downtown Beijing. I never carried my passport in my back pocket and very little cash either. Now hard to mingle in with the locals at my size!! B)
  20. Sad, never saw this while I was in, but things may have changed since Patton was in command?? Just kidding, could not resist...................
  21. Crime is everywhere, here and there. You just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time!! The Olympics will see a surge of crime because of so called easy "marks"!!
