  2. Very good news, always a happy day when you finally see the word "Issued"!!!
  3. I will be more then glad to do a write up on her. We will see her in a few weeks, and I will ask about accepting mail 693 forms. After we get our forms from her I will give a complete post.
  4. She tried to do it all at the medical in China, they told her she would have to come back weeks later? She was already a bit nervous so I said we take care of it here. So I already made some calls and we have a new Chinese Female civil surgeon in town! She will transfer the vaccinations they will get from our local health department for $24.00. Note: Most local health departments do the shots at a much lower cost, this is especially true for minors.
  5. Thanks for the heads up, but she has been here twice!!! When i put in the K-1 I printed it out and submitted it with the application, they expected it. She did mention her medical envelope is now "white" and at Guangzhou they did open it for a quick look.
  6. Well after 149 days, one RFE, one Guangzhou telephone call she has her visa in hand. The price of tickets is fairly low this month so back in America by the 15th of this month. We can relax, well until all the USA stuff starts, LOL!
  7. Very nice, and happy for you! Short time yes, beat you by 2 months, but still quick!
  8. Well good luck either way for sure! My K-1 one was ready for a short time and then switched to administrative processing. My K-2 was always just ready until they were ready to finish processing and issue both visas. It really means they are working on it, also check the dates, the second one changes any time they do anything to your case. PM me if have any direct questions.
  9. Well on the only day the U.S. Consulate in Guangzhou is working this week we got an "issued" status update. Our case took only about 4 months from the first acceptance of our petition to her interview. As I had written in another post they really never looked at any papers she had brought with her and only asked if she knew about my previous K-1 application? The real surprise was I get a call last week on my cell from an 86.........number, quite a surprise to say the least. A very polite Chinese women who asked me many questions, almost 25-30 minutes or so. Her main concern was my first Chinese wife and if I knew where she now lived, which I do not know for sure. The other questions: 1- How many brothers and sisters does my fiance have? 2- Her QQ name, like most it is a number but with a nickname, also how many times a week/day do I call her?. 3- How many times did she travel to America? 4- Who did she meet during her trips? 5- What was a normal day like for us? 6- Does she have any children? 7- Asked about my 2 sons. 8- A little about my work. 9- How we did we meet? 10- Last question was why her and my love for her? I was traveling with a co-worker who later told me he has been married for years and could not answer many of the questions I was asked. My fiance was later called and I am sure they wanted to make sure our answers matched. The next day her and her son's status both changed to administrative processing which to me meant they were going to issue both their visas! I hope this may help someone else, my only other surprise was that they pulled my credit report and discussed it as well to my honey, OMG!
  10. Yes my thought was they needed to make sure she had seen my divorce papers. Never looked at anything else or ask any other questions. Thanks for the kind words and encouragement.
  11. Well my K-1 fiance had her interview yesterday, February 4, 2015. We have been pretty stream lined and had our letter of acceptance on October 1, 2014. We had small RFE and then got approved on November 12, 2014. She got her first letter from Guangzhou on Christmas Day, thought was interesting even in China. Returned everything, paid the fee and her interview date was listed above. We got a preliminary approved with a request for divorce certificate of Ex-spouse and petitioner. She sent it in today at a CGI Stanley bank. The only questions she was asked was about my past K-1 in 2007? Any thoughts?

  13. Well thank you USA she is back here............ Even with the letter, CBP still called me, but just a so called normal check. 1- How did you meet? 2- What does she do for a living? 3- What will she do while here? Nice guy and even though she was here for one month they gave her 6 months this time!
  14. My girlfriend had a little trouble the last time when entering on her B-2 visa. Her travel company gave her the wrong itinerary for her trip. So I wrote her a letter to give when at customs in Chicago. I told her to hand over the I-94 with my address, E- ticket itinerary and this letter. Thoughts on doing this?? From: My Name To: POE Admissions Officer I am writing this letter for my girlfriend "her name" who is visiting me for the purpose of traveling with me while in America and visiting my family. She arrived on flight AA154 June 29; her return flight is AA187 November 24. I work full time and we will be travel during my limited vacation time and during weekends. I am covering her expenses while here including transportation, food, and housing. Please allow her to stay in the USA until her return ticket date. Any questions please call my mobile telephone, she can speak English but on a limited basis. My Name My home address My cell number
  15. She is coming here on the 29th of June and we going the 130 route and have her and son interview in Beijing. She did well there before getting her B-2, hope the good luck holds out. Like a K-1/K-2 on a 130 both will interview together yes? 130 for both, G-325A for mom, divorce papers, both need birth certificates?
  16. Thanks for all the help, a second time is even worse then before. My fiance got her B-2 so easily it just seemed to me that she could stay here and get married. So I read all the posts here and decided to call the lawyer I used on a very limited basis with the first wife. He states to me that he would prefer she stay here and even if we run into a problem he can help us get out of it. He has 4 offices in the Chicago (I know who cares) and seems to know what he is doing. I did ask K-1 versus the CR-1 and he said keep her here, he had limited ability to help her in China. I asked about K-1, CR-1 keeping her here or going back and doing a CR-1 and interview in China. I have read on Visa journey of couples who did this and get quoted the old 30-60-90 so called rule! Also I have called another lawyer for a second opinion.
  17. Thanks for the advice, second time around trying to make sure no problems, but who knows.............. I figured if they gave her a B-2 "M" visa it should be easier, LoL! My only tough choice is I have a very good immigration lawyer hired this time because of several issues. But he really wants us to get married and stay here and fight out the CR-1. He tells me that he has done this for 20 years and can not help her at all there and he tells me they will not send her home?
  18. My new girlfriend has a one year "M" B-2 visa and has already been to my lovely city already. We contacted a lawyer and he said doing a CR-1 here is not too much of an issue? She has a 14 year old son, and what is quicker to bring him here my thinking is K-1? The other issue is she was CCP when she taught at a university, is that better handled in the USA or in China?
  19. There is one in TX that will do this through the mail for $20 Dr. L. E. Arnold 4534 Westgate Boulevard, Suite 106 Austin, TX 78745 Tel: (512) 444-3131 Fax: (512) 447-4699 Also there is no longer a vaccination supplement, USCIS has updated the I-693, and instructions included with it to instruct the doctor that K-Visas don't need a medical if visa medical was less than a year ago, and to just do the vaccination part of the form. http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/men...00045f3d6a1RCRD Pete and others, I did call around and check with 5-6 civil surgeons and got quite the run around. Here is what Dr. Arnold needs you to do, and yes it is $20.00 per 693 and that includes postage. They send you a sealed copy for USCIS and a copy for your records. Also, the ladies you deal with could not be more pleasant. Here is the information we need to be submitted when doing an adjustment of status. We need: copy of all the immunizations on a separate sheet of paper: Last Name, First Name (Given), and Middle Name Gender (male or female) Date of Birth Country of Birth City, Town, or Village of birth mailing address phone number Social Security Number The first page of the I-693 form from the USCIS.GOV websight - please just sign and date it do NOT fill out anything else, if you do this could delay the process. We charge $20 per person and we need the above data on each person. Checks can be made out to Dr. L. E. Arnold - Money orders also accepted. I had my girls shots done at the board of health, cheap for children, not so for adults. School age children it is $10.00 per shot, adults vary from $60.00-150.00 per shot. Worst part of AOS by far............................ Mark and family!!
  20. Roger and wonderful family!!!!!!!!!!! Congratulations and it is about time!! Mark and family!!
  21. That is what I figured originally, but it is a little confusing. So in Part 3 I sponsor the K-1 on one 864, then sponsor the K-2 on the other one like I did on the 134 before?? Also, anyone have a good number for USCIS to get some AOS help on the formula??
  22. Can I use the same I-864 for both my K-1 and K-2?? It reads like you can on Part 3, numbers 8 and 9? So in Part 5 my formula should be?? a. 2 b. 1 c. 2 sons on my tax return? d. 0 e. 0 f. 0 g. 0 h. 5 ??
