  1. Glad it all came to a glad ending, and hope you can forget the fun GZU put you through!!
  2. Please recheck the Jasmine and Basmati types, I think you're not looking at the right 'types'. He's right about the Jasmine. Our local SuperH has it at the same price we paid a month ago. Didn't seem to be any shortage and no signs mentioning limits. Did not on Sunday either, no big deal. The bad part was the dange blue crabs on sale I now get to have for dinner!! B)
  3. Here is The Illinois book!! The State of Washington still has them on-line, that is where I got my Mrs. her Chinese version?? B) http://www.cyberdriveillinois.com/publicat.../dsd_a11214.pdf
  4. Many of the vendors, inside the real military very little. Just have to suck it up now and then, just ask tsap seui!!
  5. X-rays needed to get past POE, yellow book will make AOS easier. We are having a real pain with the 693, so get that yellow book if you can!!!
  6. We went to the minister last night to talk about the wedding, last name change became quite a discussion??
  7. Yes, I'm always being told to take a shower before I go sleep when we talk on the phone. Still sounds like to go drink ......... In my house Corbin, that is water, water, meaning, go wash hands, and always!! You no speaka, means, you did not tell em to do that?? B)
  8. Great news, 3 months or so, maybe quicker as of late to get your P-3??
  9. Sounds like COSTCO shoppers are doing some hoarding. The Asian market we shopped last Sunday still had their full aisle stacked with bags of rice. The rice market makes sure it will go to where those who can afford it can buy it. Period. I called Costco they said they expect 240 bags of long grain rice at one of their stores we shop at today. We were buying 25#'s for $6.99 then it went up to $7.99 before the shortage, do not know what the price will be now? The local supermarkets all have plenty of rice with no price increase. We are going to the Super H on Sunday and will see if any problems there??
  10. Wally world said there will be no problems and no rationing!!
  11. My Mrs. is taking my name, no big deal I think anyway. Chinese tradition to keep your family name, SO............
  12. Thanks..............they also like US toast!!! B)
  13. Must be thinking they are too close together and etc. Provide what they want and be detailed, but no more.
  14. 1. Always give in, she is making a bigger sacrifice then that!! 2. Her evening and our early morning seemed to work out the best for us!!! Good Luck!
  15. I got a single certificate from the Chicago Consulate, no problem. They do it all by mail, there form filled out, single status letter and divorce papers, notarized and certified by your Secratary of State, with a return mailer. PM me if you want exact directions! B)
  16. I would doubt that seriously John. I remember the Doc going into great detail with me to think this through before he taped my John Thomas to my belly and made his cut into the family jewels. It was back in December 1990 (a Christmas gift to my then wife) and I may have had to sign a paper that I understood all the ramifications. Probably aren't going to get "Your safe in our hands" or any of the other companies to pay for a reversal. tsap seui If'n I was 40 years younger and didn't know what I know now, I'd probably want to have another young'in....wait a minute, his mother would be only 4 yeas old....Hmmmm..should I move to Texas? That is what I kinda thought. I think if I could go back 12 years I would never would have had it done. What we do in our youth huh? tsap seui 40 years younger and the Mrs. is only a glimmer in parents eye!!!
  17. They could also be counting on kids for help or living in China, or living from city to city after a wonderful working life??
  18. Very nice to hear, great story, now sleep, will need the rest when they get here!!! God am I tired, and need vitamins!! B)
  19. Hey Corbin, girls went to Thailand, it was warm and a great time!!! B)
  20. Good post, Charles. My wife and I have had much the same thoughts and experiences. We lost one six weeks after we married. She was crushed, as was I. To make it worse, I couldn't be there with her. I've had two unsuccessful marriages with kids. I've had custody of all three of my children, but I've never experienced the joy of raising a baby as part of a complete family. I'm 50+ also and Lao Po is 38, so we have time. We both want it and we're both going to continue to try. My older kids (girls, 18 and 21) think I'm a nut for even considering it, but my 13 year old son is very excited and really WANTS a younger brother or sister. I want another as I just can't imagine NOT sharing the experience with the woman who is the love of my life. It's all good if it's God's will, eh? I wanted to avoid this topic, but can not............ My feng enjoyed my nephew's son way too much upon coming here, my sister noticed and said watch out for her!!! I have my 11 and 12 year old sons, who will both soon be 1 more year older, New daughter is 16 and a delight, 2 older kids in there 20's still getting used to the Mrs. and then my step children who I still claim as mine......... Need to get her to work or boredom may take over soon?? Mike and Charles, good luck. I know this much, a lot better father this time around, spend more time with my boys, sports, school, church etc. Not going to miss much this time around!
