My SO recieved the visa today but she is saying it is sealed and is not to be opened. I am not understanding what she means by this! I need to know how long the visa is good for and what day it will exspire.

LOL - Good topic... I pasted the whole thing into Word, and well, lets just say that my company would have me planting replacement trees for years if I tried to print it all! So I figured I'd just print 3 days worth a month (1st, 10th, and 20th) it's only been 3 1/2 months and that came to 60 pages, so I'm cutting further to 2 pages for each of those 3 days a month, editing out some of the more, ummm, intimate parts! I think that'll be good enough! Plus I'm going to give her the whole shebang on a flash drive if they really want to see it all, even the spicy stuff. As long as we accomplish the goal, who cares right? Well I checked mine and it was over 3000 pages, I am a logger and it would keep me in business but it is a huge waste of time and ink

When printing up chat logs for your SO's interview how many do you print if you have no way to put them disk?

I did not get the pleasure of meeting my SO's family on our first visit. Her father has asked her when he will be able to meet me. I said we could travel to meet him this June when I come to see her. She said this: Let's go back to my hometown after we get the visa, In my hometown's custom, you need give some money to my dad, But I don't know how much. Can someone tell me what this is for? I have heard of betrothal gifts.This is not a concern just a wonder!

Just recieved a letter today from the NVC dated 4-22-08 stating the had recently recieved our petition papers and will be forwarding them onto the GUZ. One more step crossed YEEHAW!

Hey all we have our NOA2 and its approved . I want to travel back to China so we can have a little more proof of our relationship. We have 1 little problem! Do to the fact that the summer Olympics are being held in Beijing round trip flights are out of my budget . I can get a flight to Hong Kong for half the price. How would I get from Hong Kong into Shenzhen where my fiancee lives?

I was reading another persons post and his wife or fiancee was denied at her interview because she could not speak english. I am worried now for the same reason. Yulan and I have to use a translator to communicate and we are working on her English skills but I am worried that she to will get denied because she can not speak English fluently. We have not received our NOA2 so what should we do to prepare her for the interview.

I was just reading on the visa journey website that someone had received a white paper or something saying that there relationship is not bona fide. As most Americans I only get one vacation from work a year and I want to use wisely it to be with Yulan on her interview and to fly home with her. I flew to meet her in March and we did not began the filing until November. I was going to go back in March again but was told that I would want to be at her interview. I know I cannot go in but if she has my passport on her this is a good thing. So what should I do to prove there is an on going relationship and keep from getting the white slip?
