  1. How to print out Skype history? My wife and I met in February 2016, we talked on Skype morning and night every day missing very few days. How do I go about showing the people at Guangzhou this extensive chat history? I have not been able to figure out how to get it printed. I have an Apple iPad Thank you
  2. I just spent the better part of three hours figuring this out and thought I'd put some instructions out there for anyone who is attempting to do this. I did this with an iPhone 5 that had iOS 7. Hopefully at some point someone makes these instructions into an app. Part I) Getting the file 1) Connect your iPhone, and download iClover:http://www.iclover.com/ 2) Once its installed and your iPhone is plugged in, open iClover. 3) Install this app and connect your iPhone to the computer. 4) Click on "File System" on the tool bar. 5) Open the following directory path -> Apps(User) -> 微信 6) This should display two folders. One will be all zero's and have one file in it. The other folder is the one we want, mine is named "3299b657a598b94d97eea206c1102bb3" 7) Click on this folder and then the "DB" folder. 8) There should be a file named "MM.SQLITE", right click this and from the drop down menu click "export" . Save it to your desktop. Part II) Your chat history is in this file, but this is a database file and will need to be opened, and the conversation extracted. 9) Download SQLite Database Browser : http://sourceforge.n.../sqlitebrowser/ 10) Unzip the contents and open "SQLite Database Browser 2.0 b1" 11) Go to File -> Open Database, and open the MM.sqlite which should be on your desktop. 12) Click the "Browse Data" tab. 13) There should be a drop down menu labeled "Table:", click on this and there should be a list of all of the Tables in this database. 14) Each conversation will be labeled "Chat_" followed by a strange name. Click on each one until you find the conversation your interested in. 15) Once you know the name of the Conversation... mine started with "Chat_4f4c9..." and was a really long name. Once you know the name go to the File menu.. File-> Export->Table as CSV file 16) Save it to your desktop. Part III) You now have your conversation in the csv format with excess data. Download http://www.openoffice.org/, OR use Microsoft Excel to clean it up. 17) Open this in Excel or OpenOffice and begin to clean it up. 18) Your first row should say this, and I will being referring to these columns by name: "TableVer" "MesLocalID" "MesSrvID" "CreateTime" "Message" "Status" "ImgStatus" "Type" "Des" 19) By right clicking the column letterhead delete these columns "TableVer" "MesLocalID" "MesSrvID" "ImgStatus" "Type" "Des" If you want time stamps following these directions, if you know how to use Excel, otherwise skip ahead to step 21) 20) The equation to change the column "CreateTime" to an actual time stamp is as follows: +D2/(60*60*24)+365.25*70-0.25, you can then convert that to a date stamp, if its off by an hour then to add or subtract hours is +/-(1/24). Fill the column with that equation, and then copy and paste it as numbers. 21) Delete the "CreateTime" column, just as was done in 19) 22) Look at the "Status" column, it should be listing some numbers, one of those numbers is going to be your ID, and the other will be the opposite ID. 23) You can replace these ID numbers with names by highlighting the "Status" Column. Now get to the Find/Replace toolbox. You can do this by looking to your tool ribbon for Home->Editing-> Find a pair of binoculars (sp?) or the words "Find & Select". You could also press Ctrl-F. Either way once you get to the find toolbox, hit the "replace" tab, and type your ID number in "Find What" and then in "Replace With" type your name. Hit Replace all. Repeat this for all members of the conversation. 24) Now delete the Title Row, to eliminate all those names. Part IV: Almost done! Grab the text 25) Save your file and keep the formatting as a CSV file. 26) Open notepad ... Start Menu ->All Programs->Accessories->Notepad 22) File-> Open; At the open screen look for a drop down menu that is labeled "Text Documents (*.txt)" click it and it will drop down, click "All Files", you should now be able to find and open your csv file that now holds your cleaned up conversation log. 23) You can now copy and paste this log into whatever you wish, it should be formatted and good to go. Let me know what you think. Hope this helps anyone who needs the information. Happy hunting
  3. Hey candle for love community! Hope everyone is doing well! I'm having trouble finding a way to migrate my wechat chat logs to my pc so i can print it as evidence. Any suggestions? I'm using a iphone 6.
  4. My fiancee and I are preparing for her upcoming interview and gathering evidence of a bonafide relationship. Would chat records be necessary? After collecting them all it came out to be 1500+ pages of text. Anyone have tips or could share their experience in what they did? Thank you,
  5. My now wife and I have known each other for a long while. First as friends and then as more. One of the results of this is tens, if not hundreds, of thousands of chat and text messages. It is a huge number to go through and I've no idea what one ought to include. I've been over there five times, six next week, and will be submitting evidence of those visits and such. My question to everyone is, with the forgoing in mind, how critical would it be to submit chat logs and emails? What have other people done? Does anyone here know of anyone who has been blue slipped, or worse white, having not submitted chat logs? I'm not so much thinking of not submitting them I suppose but more wondering how critical they've been for other people in similar situations?
  6. I know I have read this somewhere before but cannot find for now. Is there an easy way to save Yahoo messenger chats to CD? I know is easy for msn and others, yet have not found any other way other than cut and paste to word document. That will take hours to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance Paul
  7. 08/03/2009 To whom it may concern, this is the story of how Hui Z and myself Robert H met and fell in love.¡¡ I first laid eyes on Hui in January of 2009 when I saw her profile in the personals section on Yahoo.com. I was immediately drawn to her beautiful smile in one of her pictures. She looked so sweet and kind. After reading her introduction I decided I had to write to her. So being the big chicken that I am, I sent her a Icebreaker instead. Icebreakers are little one line premade things you can send to someone to test the waters. I think mine was something like " Your profile made me smile". It was two days later I got a reply from her. I can remember being so nervous opening the Email. Hui said she had read my profile also and would be interested in chatting some more if I would like to. We started to Exchange Emails every day, sometimes 4-5 times a day. We talked about everything from her cat Ding to my sons studies in school. We just clicked....I never had any problems understanding what she was saying to me. Sometimes she would say it in a funny way but I always knew what she ment to say. After about two months of exchanging Emails and Texts I asked if I could call her using MSN live chat. She said yes..... I was so nervous. I setup MSN and called her.....ring... ring.. "Hello" said the sweetest voice in the world. I was hooked then and there I think. Now at the time I could understand everything Hui would say to me with very little problems. I would have to speak slow and clear so she could understand me, if she had trouble understanding me all I needed to do was type what I was saying in MSN chat and she would understand me right away. Since our first call and chat in MSN we have talked almost every day. (I have recently started saving the chat logs since I asked her to marry me and I found out they might be needed.) In our chats we started to move beyond the small talk of getting to know each other and started to learn more about what the other was looking for in life. Our hopes and dreams. What we wanted for our future. The more we talked the more I found myself drawn to her. We are the same age, we have the same outlook on many things in life. We want the same things in our future. I remember texting to her half seriously . You are a good woman will you marry me? She in her very Chinese way replied we will see that is a question best asked face to face. It was around the beginning of May I decided I want to meet this woman in person to see if what we have started to build is real. So I applied for my passport and visa for China. With passport in hand I booked my flight to China. On July 14th at midnight united flight 869 touched down in Hong Kong. I was worried about how I was going to get to Shenzhen so late at night. After talking to some helpful customer service workers at the airport I was able to take a train ride then a Taxi ride and then finally catch a bus that took me to Shenzhen. On the bus to Shenzhen I met a nice man who spoke some english, he helped me navigate threw the confusing entry point and called Hui for me. Hui was very surprised to learn I was on the bus and almost to Shenzhen. Hui was there to meet me when I walked out of the customs area of the Huanggang checkpoint at 2:30am. When we first saw each other in person we were a little shy. She offered to help me with my bags and we walked to find a Taxi. After checking in to the Hotel and getting our room we spent a few hours talking. We found that we could communicate with ease threw talking, typing and the use of a fantastic electronic translator I brought with me. The shyness between us disappeared very quickly and by noon the we were touring Shenzhen arm in arm. I remember our first kiss was that night after we got back from the Windows on the world theme park. It was magic I felt like I was back in high school kissing my first girlfriend. July 17th 2009 is the day I asked Hui to marry me. We were sitting talking in our hotel room when I just had the feeling that this is right... this is the woman I love. So I asked... She looked at me for a little while and gave me a kiss and whispered yes. I was so happy!!! Two days later we had a lunch date with 6-8 of Hui's close friends. We made the announcement at that time and had a wonderful meal to celebrate. We discussed what we steps we needed to take to have Hui join me in America. We talked and decided Hui would leave her Job as a accountant in Donguan and return to her hometown of Nanchang to attend English school for 4 months while I get the K-1 application started. The school is very intense and she will live at the school while she attends. The rest of the trip up to my departure is a blur we spent countless hours talking, shopping and eating. But unfortunately I could not stop the hands of time and July 24th came at last. It was a sad day to leave someone who I have fallen so Deeply in love with behind. It hurt my heart to have to return home alone. My only solace was to know when I returned home I could start work on my K-1 visa application, the very reason I am writing this letter. The dreaded "evolution of relationship letter" I hope I did not write to much and make your eyes go blurry. I know is it your job to make sure this is a bona fide relationship and I am sure that is a difficult process for you. I can only hope I have told you enough of our story to give you a understanding of Hui and myself and to know we truly and deeply love each other. With that thought I will close out my letter and thank you for your time in reading it. ¡¡ Thank you Robert How dose that look? Did I give them enoufgh of our story?
