Does any one know what committees are involved with the DOS or FBI name checks etc. I want to know which congressmen are involved on those committees and write to them. Especially the chairmen. And others can write to them complaining about the backlog.

Emailing CA does cause them to query the other agencies and keeps the issue alive with them. The squeaky wheel gets the oil.

That is a boiler plate letter. It is the same as mine except for one word, wife/fiancee. We need to press for an unhold. They use the word "hold" I suggest hole'd as it merely implies the black hole.
