I work in IT network (cisco 4510, 6513 and nexus) and we never flip the switch, but I may I have an answer to it. I believe tech support told you to power off and on because tech support wants to make sure the unit is power up. they make up an answer just to make sure the device is on. its the same thing where they tell you take the patch cable of one end and unplugged it and plugged it to the other end and do the same for the other end. the reason is to make sure that patch cable is 100% connected. my friend told me she is a tech support at Verizon dsl for home.

hi guys, question regarding visas for wife's father and mother. wife just turned us citizenship this month and starting I-130 paper work for her parents. our question is do we file one I-130 for both parents or we file two I-130s for father and mother. 1 I-130 for both = 420 dollars 2 I-130s for father and mother = 840 dollars instruction 1F said your mother or father (you must be 21 or older). my gut feeling is 2 I-130s for father and mother. how is the interview, separate or together? any ideas and comments are appreciated. thanks

hi guys, wife's citizenship process is driving me nuts and plenty of mop slops. she received interview notice on 12/6/2012 for an interview on 3/18/13. the notice also bring the following doc to her interview. 1 - bring your state-issued driver's license or state-issued photo id card. 2 - bring all passport and travel documents (including expired and current) issued to you by any gov. 3 - if you are applying for naturalization on the basis of marriage to a u.s. citizen, bring an original internal revenue service form 1722 listing tax information for the past 3 years or copies of the income tax forms you filled for the past 3 years. 4 - if you are applying for naturalization on the basis of marriage to a u.s. citizen, bring proof of residence (irs return transcript or federal tax returns, rent or mortgage payments, utility bills, etc.) I did the followings: 1 - ny state id card 2 - china passport and 10 yr green card 3 - 3 (2010,2011,2012) original tax returns 4 - I said use # 3 as proof of residence. on the day of the interview, we waited 3 hours before her name was called and it took another hour before she came out. she looked not happy, holding in her hand was a piece of white paper, the n-652, naturalization interview results. she passed the tests of english and u.s. history and government but interviewer agent wanted more documents. the next date was 5/10/13. n-652 wants: 1 - joint accounts for 2 years 2 - credit cards statements for 2 years 3 - health insurance 4 - life insurance 5 - utility bills 6 - lease or mortgage 7 - 3 years of tax return transcript and tax account I did the followings: 1 - print out joint account showing both names, account start date and account's status is current. 2 - print out credit card statements (2011, 2012) showing her name and activities. 3 - print out health insurance showing my name, wife's name and son's name, account's status is active. 4 - print out life insurance showing wife gets 100% if I were to pass away, policy is active. 5 - no utility bills given, answer is given on # 6. cell phone is under my name and its a family plan but no wife's name on statement. 6 - no lease or mortgage. wife, son and i live with my mother. my mother is the lease owner and her name is on all utilities bills. I wrote a letter explaining why I have no lease or mortgage and that we are living with my mother where she pays for all rent and utilities bills. I also included that I paid my mother cash every month for living there. lease agreements (2008, 2010 and 2012) were copied and staple to the letter. I also have the letter notary as well. 7 - print out 2009. 2010, 2011, 2012 tax return transcript and tax account, http://www.irs.gov/Individuals/Order-a-Transcript 8 - chinese marriage license translated to english, costed me 30 dollars. wife came out with another n-625 letter. she passed the tests of english and u.s. history and government. uscis will send you a written decision about your application. I don't understand why she was given a n-625 again. she presented a mountain of documents and knowing # 6 is our weakest, but I told my wife that she must explain to the interview agent our situations. any thoughts, comments or anything? I really don't want any more mop slops. thanks guys.

hi dan, i read your posts and went to my wife for a definite answer. it is not the aunt, it is the uncle who filed the immigartion paper. uncle immigrated to USA more then 20 years and the uncle is a US citizen. the relationship is B's father's oldest brother. the oldest brother is filing the paper for his brother and family. i'm reading the 1-130's instruction on who may file form I-130, 1E states you brother(s) or sister(s) (you must be age 21 or older) their interview is scheduled but keeping it hush hush, chinese thinking somebody may throw a money wrench for failure.

hi guys and gals, i have a question(s) that i like to ask, don't we all , to CFL from my brother-in-law in china and my nagging wife. players are: my brother-in-law is called A brother-in-law's wife is called B brother-in-law and wife's baby is called C facts are: A is married to B in china of 2011 and their baby C was born in china of 2012. A and B are not registered as husband and wife, meaning no marriage certificate. by the way, they have to pay a fine of 10000RMB, only in china. B's aunt in USA has filed immigration paper for B's family and is due for an interview this year. B's aunt has never added A and C to the immigration paper. my father-in-law asked B's father to add A and C to the immigration paper, but B's father said no and don't want to jeopardise their chances to USA; however, he did promised my father-in-law that A and C will be reunite with B once they are settle in USA and will file immigration paper. A, B and C are together right now. A is working. our questions: what should A's very first important step right now? what shoudl B do once she has settle in USA? what is the wait time, guess it will be years? wha is the best pratice or best approach to this problem? what would you do? we welcome all suggestions and comments, once again, i know i can count on the talented members in this forum. happy chinese new year

I can send a text but will not recieve any and i have never been able to get internet access.... So much for "global access" about 5 years ago, my friend went to china for the first time and he also had your verizon global access. 2 months later, his bill for global access and data useage was 8 thousands usd. global access and data useage are 2 different things but maybe today is different from 5 years ago. please posts pictures of places and people. have a fun safe trip.
