1. Go for it, guy! Have a Merry Christmas!
2. The cards themselves are pieces of cardboard, with your ID information on them. If you want to have that available at the interview, either send the ID info, or send copies of the cards. If you want to REALLY get serious, have the copies notarized, but I doubt that anything more than the ID information is meaningful.
3. I find it hard to believe than a law could be broken by either not getting or by delaying a divorce! . . . and of course Mr. Honest is your real name, and not a new member name created solely for the purpose of hiding your identity.
4. She has the advantage here in that she is already across the border - no sneaking is needed. Getting a work-related visa could be a problem, however, but she probably has the advantage there as well.
5. If your employer is willing to sponsor you, this would be no problem. My company does this regularly, but for people with an advanced degree.
6. Is getting married in China an option? They already have the K1 - I wouldn't think there would be any complication at the Point of Entry.
7. From the front page - "My Controls", then "Edit Signature"
8. Realize, however, that FedEX and DHL have their own delivery system within China that may not reach some of the smaller cities. The USPS will hand off to China Post, which does. There was another thread about problems with FedEX/DHL shipments to smaller cities (I don't remember where).

10. Very good observations, Randy! It seems that after GUZ receives P3 (or acknowledges that they've received it), it will take at least two months before GUZ sends out P4. In the third month, when GUZ sends out P4, if you are lucky then you could get the interview in the following month (or forth month after receipt of P3), otherwise it would be pushed to the next month (fifth month in your case). So if we do not receive P4 by the 15th of each month, do we have to wait until the next month, as GUZ only mails out P4 early in the month? Paul 176566 That is the way they've operated recently.
11. I don't mean to subtract from what you're saying, but looking at it from the timelines - Compare our timelines - it looks like you picked up a little time In VSC instead of CSC (41 days vs. 62 days), and then P3 to P4 (54 days vs. 101 days), and then P4 to interview (32 days vs. 47 days). So I believe the major differences were VSC vs. CSC, and then because of the way GUZ processes the applications. That is, they process P4's once a month at the beginning of the month for the following month - and assign interview dates beginning at the end of the month working backwards. That is, in early Sept., we missed the October wave - so instead of an early October interview date (like Ed&Ying, we got a late November date. Likewise, because of where you fell in that cycle, you got an early November date, instead of a late December date. Just throwing in my own observations - congratulations and best wishes to you.
12. Well, in that case I tell her not to go to Yulin. But more seriously maybe nothing works in every case, yes, no? Yeah, her feet really make my heart rate jump ... 176480 Yeah - I'm with you. I gave her a PayPal debit card that worked every where except where we needed it to. But Western Union came to the rescue! But it did come in handy on her trip here.
13. Except in Yulin, where they don't work! So you're a foot person, Paul??
14. Goodness to gracious. I never expected such a congratulations. hehe I guess this is an important milestone in the process, hey i'll take it though, after all this time of seeing others getting congratulatories, its kind of fun to get one directed my way hehe. god bless 176015 http://bergoiata.org/gif/Feu4.gif Hey! What the heck!!?! That's what we're here for!
15. My traveler's checks were cashed without any problem at the Bank of China (by myself - I'm not sure that sending money this way is a good idea). The PayPal debit card(free - except for small transaction fees) was an excellent way to send her money in Beijing, but did not work in Yulin. For Yulin, I took cash to a grocery store/Western Union agent for $14/transfer. Online, credit card, or telephone WU transfers are MUCH more expensive.
16. http://bergoiata.org/gif/Feu4.gif Congratulations !! http://tinypic.com/erfmns.gif http://tinypic.com/erfmns.gif http://tinypic.com/erfmns.gif http://tinypic.com/erfmns.gif http://tinypic.com/erfmns.gif http://tinypic.com/erfmns.gif http://tinypic.com/erfmns.gif
17. Just complete cruelty, in my view. There needs to be some consideration for the emotional impact on the interviewee.
18. Your speaking Chinese is an excellent answer to the communication question. Having the interview in Chinese is no problem.

20. You're in Houston, right? Maybe we can meet up on one of my trips to Houston soon. I have a buddy who has been asking me to come meet his new chick, maybe in a week or so. But when SO gets here, we will need some friends from all over ... you guys into things like the beach at Galveston? 175165 Sure - let us know next time you're down this way!
21. Very distracted lately. Jiaying mowed the lawn (mostly weeds) for the first time today, although she had a hard time stopping at the property line. She's an excellent cook, and we've had lots of good meals. Still several Chinese markets we haven't checked out yet.
22. You can pretty much expect a checkpoint like that about 100 miles from the border - be ready for it. Mexico has them on their side of the border also.
