Nothing is easy anymore. I sold my home last week and now the escrow co says they need my wife to sign for the title release here. Anybody know if this is necessary? this could add a couple weeks to the closing. And i just bought a home in wisconsin. mark

yes but they put my wifes name in the letter and i guess think she is the petioner. I'll just write a letter and send a copy of my passport to them. I talked to a VO and he was also very confused. mark

Our govmt at work! I applied for the I129F last november, and just got an RFE for our case. "please submit evidence that the petioner (my wife) is a united states citizen. Include a copy of the passport biographical page" Ok this is from USCIS. If my wife was a US citizen then i wouldn't be applying for a immigrant visa. They are so screwed up. I want my 165$ back. just got an email from UCSIS saying we sent you a letter about needing more information concerning your 129f. my cr1 case is on its way to guz. What should i do about this as my cr1 will be processed before the k3? Any suggestions are appreciated mark

well i called dhl. looks like 6 different boxes shipped on the 27th, all are in clearance delay. Leaving to be with my wife in 16 days, wow it has been six months. Mark

Just called the NVC and they said our case was sent to GUZ May 27th....Finally!!!! Now the wait begins for the great GUZ and start to see when they enter it into the computer. Happy days are here again. Mark

i got the same message. I called DOS and they told me they were missing the 230, sheeez. Finally a week later updated to case complete. Finally moving out of the NVC parking lot. Mark

this has been a tough week. I will be out of work next week. On tuesday driving here in sacramento the front end fell apart on my sonoma in a very busy intersection...upper and lower ball joints, shocks, etc. But i called nvc and our cr1 case is complete. Got to keep smiling! thank you NVC

i am not sure that the cr1 route is any longer, depending on your area of filing. But the process stinks and is so out of date. I will leave next month to be with my wife, because i cannot bear to be away any longer. If i have to live with her in China then okay, we are together and that is what counts. I am just sad that this visa process takes so long. I do know that it has made our love that much stronger. So strange that we will have to prove that to someone! mark

there is a link for the cr1 p3. But it is a ds 230, a letter with instructions and a supplemental sheet. They just got ours may 10th and the auto message says they are reviewing my package. Then sent to the great GUZ! Our timelines are very close. Regards mark

yes i wish that this kind of service was dependable and that the NVC had it also. Oh well hard to tell where the problem is or why just that it didn't work for me. I hope that others did get some value from it. mark

case status on line???? what a joke. i had both cases on line (130 and 129 for k3) i applied oct 21 2004. and a week later for the 129f. i got my noa2 for the 130 feb2. My case was never updated. and the 129 f was also never updated to this day. well last week or so i got 6 emails from them saying my 130 was approved april 27th. Duh? better just talk with a real person. Just anaother example of our gov at work.

my p3 letter is dated april 24th, 230 sent to nvc May 4th mark

the ds 230 is a single page double sided document. I just sent ours in this week. I think the fax is not a good idea not as clear and the fax paper size in China is different than ours. You could have your wife down load one from here or other sites and take it to a copier and go from one sided to two sided. I sent my wife the 230 via express along with the supplemental sheet that she has to fill out also. You willalso need to have a copy of her passports biographical pages. Hope this helps mark

my son just called to tell me i got this big envelope from DOS. I am sure it is our 230. We are all ready to send it in. Should go out soon, he will express it too me here in Sac. Told my wife already, she is very happy, start the clock oh great GUZ! Mark

hi Injd, You will receive the ds 230 from NVC if you are the sponsors agent (form 3032). If not your wife will get the 230. After your case is approved by nvc it will be sent to GZ. As i understand it the p4 is from GZ and sent to your wifes address in china. Hope this helps, welcome to CFL and the NVC parking lot! mark
