  1. Just ask her what she prefer to do.

  3. Emails are all standard... I won't even bother to email them... I personally found DOS works better...
  4. I assume you've already got your pacakge4. Let me try to answer your question. Medical exam: around 800RMB depend on wether you need to speed it up or not. Visa fees: $100 Other expenses? trip to GZ's cost will depend on where you live, where you eat all that.... Hope that helps..

  6. I think many of the members on this site completed the required paperwork in a "dry-run" method. You can find copies of the p-4 paperwork here on this site and fill in the blanks, so that your partner can be prepared to complete the forms once they arrive, by copying from one to another. While many members have not had a problem using and submitting the p-4 forms they found online, there may be an anal VO or clerk that wants you to use only those forms supplied by their offices. In either case, you should have no problem. Just make sure that you're prepared to get the medical done at least two days before the interview, and no later than the day before. You may want to have her call the consulate herself and make the request. They may make arrangements for her to get there a few days before the interview to pick up the paperwork. Have you been able to verify that the address they have on register for her matches her actual address. Has she received previous mailings, e.g., the P3? If so, I wouldn't fret too much about it, as they should be able to reprint that information and make it available for pickup; but again, someone, either you are her needs to nail that down via telephone... good luck... She needs the P4 letter to do the medical exam.. depending on where you were hoping to do the medical, you probably want to get this letter sooner than later.. I agree... P4 or some sort of prove from GZ that she is legit to do the exam and interview... They should have some way to cover it...
  7. Just get things ready in case they ask for, she can pull it out at once.
  8. Basically, touch doesn't mean anything. It means someone touched your paper work.
  9. Doesn't matter where your SO, the first two steps are going to on the same time line.
  10. If you think the dinner party could make your relationship look stronger, then go ahead but you don't have to IMO. They might ask your SO when did you guys engaged(in my case they did), then she might talk about more details.

  12. Personly I don't think NVC's contacts are useful anyway.
  13. Yup... Mine took three months from NOA2 to package3.
  14. Congrats and hopefully you will have a much smoother ride afterwards.
  15. Most people did two trips before the interview but few of them only did one and I didn't find that was a problem.
  16. I guess this is what cost multiple messages from them lately.
  17. Don't check it everyday... check it once a week... That way you will feel much better!
