  1. This is another one that I think China could benefit from us with, SAFETY! I remember the last time that we went to Chong Qing and were driving in a taxi I was looking at some of the building going on in that city. OSHA would have a field day with the way that they suspend themselves from the side's of buildings, pretty scary seeing some of that. On that note, as far as working goes, I think the US could benefit from China by raising there kids to work harder in any kind of job that they do. The Chinese have to be some of the hardest working people on the face of this earth, and not only working harder, but look at the way they get paid there compared to the way that some of us get paid. I have a pretty good job with a pretty good pay and there are people that work where I do that don't deserve half of the pay that they get because they are lazy and they know when to work harder and when not to. When a supervisor is present you see nothing but a..holes and elbows, when he walks away, that all goes out the window. I am not saying that all Chinese are like this but for the most part the one's that I have seen working are top notch workers.
  2. I like China being China...I find the booger pickin', spittin' large "clams" and blowin' of one's nose on the sidewalk and on marble floors in nice resturants to be quite hilarious and right at home. No worries from me when I wait for a stall in a men's room and some guy who just showed up quickly steals the stall from me or some old woman pushes me out of the way to get to the bank window (with no one behind her). China is China in my book and they just need to keep on being Chinese...no need to change. If westerners don't like what they see in China...then just go to dern Disneyland...again. Change in america the great. Well, it would be nice to see a person in the oval office who at least knew how to run a "small" business. If I had run my "small" business like the country is run, I would never have had to pay Uncle Sugar $75,000 in taxes in 2003, instead, I would probably have LOST $150,000. I wouldn't change nuthin' in Chinatucky...if'n things in China had been more westernized, the lil' rabbit wouldn't have been seekin' an american man and I wouldn't have met her. I learned long ago, in the jungles of Cambodia and Vietnam, the white boy and the american way, can be very deadly dangerous, especially when they think God is behind their illegal white hat actions. Chinatucky is unique to itself as amurica is unique to it's own self, let em' be. tsap seui I don't mind the nose rockets or spiting on the floors either, you can see that today in the US, but the toilets is where I would have to draw the line! "I wouldn't change nuthin' in Chinatucky...if'n things in China had been more westernized, the lil' rabbit wouldn't have been seekin' an american man and I wouldn't have met her." Just sorta curious, you think that the reason that most of the girls from China want to live here is because China isn't as Westernized as the US?
  3. Most of the world uses squatters. I thought we were talking about China........
  4. China needs to learn more Western ways of doing things like, making all of there toilets like we have here instead of a hole in the ground. America needs to learn more Chinese ways of doing things like, being happy with what we have.
  5. We have ways of getting around doing things that we don't want to do...lol...lol.. one of the best ways to get around something is Psychology...lol...lol.. B)
  6. You know I am not really sure, but I am glad that it happened!
  7. I really wouldn't say that, the VO that interviewed my wife looked at them and actually went through some of them. I think it really depends on the person that you get on that day, from what I have heard some of them just pretty much hand you the Visa without any sort of questions at all and then some of them question you until you are ready to kill them.
  8. When we printed them out for my wife's interview we just printed out some from the first month that we talked then picked out a few in the middle and then some from the end of our conversations. They don't need all of them, I think we printed out about 20 or 25 of them. You can put them on a disk, but I think once you go to the interview they want to see printed copies of them. This is a list of the things that Jennifer took with her to her interview to prove our relationship: 1) Pictures- The first time I went there, we took a lot of pictures of us together and with her friends, take lots of them. Take pictures of you guys having a great time somewhere. 2) E-Mails- Print out a lot of them, especially when you are working on the paperwork together and you have to communicate with her and tell her something about doing the paperwork. They want to see that you guys have been communicating and that you can communicate together. 3) Chats -Take the time frame of you're relationship and print out chats from the beginning to the end, be sure to include the chats that you guys were working on something together, like the Visa Process, communication is the biggest thing that they want to see between each of you. 4) Plane ticket stubs- Make copies or take the original ones from the first time that you met each other and if you have more, then take those also.
  9. That might help, but once you go to apply for her Citizenship they will give her a book to study. It is a real easy test and as long as she studies the book and knows it, she will pass the test. My wife got her Citizenship a week ago, trust me, it is a real easy process. She went to Norfolk which I would assume that is where you guys will go also.
  10. It is a very easy test, my wife just got hers last week in Norfolk VA. She passed the test with ease. I think she studied about 1 month and then I asked her all of the questions in the guide. They don't ask you all of the questions, I think they gave her a test with about 25 questions on it and they were all multiple choice, so it is a really easy test, Good Luck!
  11. My wife and I look on here all of the time and read a lot of post, don't do much reply s but this is different, get rid of her as soon as you can and before she takes everything you have and destroys you're life. It sounds like you are off to a good future, don't let her ruin it for you, its not worth it.
  12. You dont have to do all of that at all. Launch you're Yahoo Messenger, select Contacts, go to Message Archive. Once you are here, select Message then Preferances. Once you have gotten to the Preferances, select Archive, select save all of my messages to this computer. Once you have did this you can select any message from this screen and then go to the top and select the print button, thats it.
  13. I paid with a credit card on the internet when I used their service to buy a ticket to Beijing in October. Did they only give you ticket number through e-mail and then you went to airport to print the paper ticket out?

  18. When we went to have Victors picture taken they just took him out of his car seat, put a white cloth behind him and sat him back in his seat and took the picture. Jennifer and I just stand behind him and make funny faces and he was fine...lol...lol...lol... I dont think you will be able to get a passport without a birth certificate though, I guess you can try, but that was the first thing that they asked us about when we went to get Victors. The next thing that they ask us for was the Social Secerity Card, thats all that we needed. If I remember right, the cost of it was $70.00 and it is good for 5 years, if I remember right. Good luck you guys! If you need anything else, just drop us another E-mail......
  19. we have a 5 months old baby and we are going to send him to China living with my parents for about 1 year,We are going to leave here at end of March We think its good for him to listen and learn alittle bit Chinese,Of course I will teach him Chinese when he is back here anyway, He could get 6 months tourist visa and the visa could be easily extended by the local government if ifs expired.
