  1. We got a note from the Doctor about her not being able to take the shot, so I guess we will be ok. Thanks a lot for the information!
  2. We found out yesterday that for Jennifers AOS Interview, which is on the 28 of June, she will need to get a few shots. The problem that we have now is that she is expecting our first little boy in August. We called our doctor and they told us that 1 of the shots that she has to get she cant take it until after she has the baby. We are going to the INS Office on my next days off to have a talk with them about this issue. Will it cause a problem with her AOS? We are thinking that they will just reschedule the interview, is this right, or will there be more problems? I talked to her about her shot records in China, she doesnt have any of them and her parents dont have them either.
  3. Where can you get Bigzoo at? I have never heard of them. Is the connection pretty good for these cards? The cards that we get from the 7-11 work pretty good, never had any issues of being cut off with them at all. We do have a local Chinese store here, so on my next days off, we will check on them.
  4. Welcome, I am new also. Godd luck to you in youre process. Which Visa are you applying for? My wife and I did the K1 Visa, went pretty good, not to many problems. If you have any questions, ask it looks like there are quit a lot of people on here that really have there information together.
  5. I guess you are asking me if Jennifer has gotten her P-3 yet? Yea, she has gotten it a long time ago, actually she is here and has been here for about 6 months now. I know it is easy for me to say, but good luck to you, I hope that everything works out for you guys.
  6. Thats OK, I understand You know its strange, our timelines for are almost exactly the same. How much longer do you think it will be before youre wife and or Fiance is here? God and GZ only know we was guessing June/Jul interview but now we have no clue until GZ starts issuing P4's again, did you file through TSC or VSC I am guessing VSC since your woman is already here. Yes, it was VCS that we filled through. What is the deal with Guang Zhou and them not sending out the P-4 Packet?
  7. I have used a card called the World Card that I have been getting from the 7-11. I used them when Jennifer was still in China. We still use them now because she calls her mom and dad all of the time. We usually get a $10.00 calling card and it gives her about 120 minutes to talk, it usually last her about 1.5 weeks because not only does she use the calling card, but also Yahoo Voice Chat also. Half of the time the Yahoo Voice Chat doesnt work right and it is really hard to get connected. She uses the cell phone sometimes because it has a speaker on it and she can set and relax and talk without the phone against her ear. I really havent noticed any change in my minutes though, I have Sprint.
  8. I f any of you want to see the pictures that Jennifer and I took in China, just E-mail us and I will set you up with the invitation that HP Photo Home needs for you to look at them. I tried to make a web site on GEO Cities, but I needed to download a new Java program, I just thought it would be a lot better for me to do it this way. [click the email button on the bottom of the post, or send a PM]
  9. Please do NOT post names and personal contact info of people at DOS or GZ that are not available from an official site. Sorry about that, it wont happen again.
  10. How long did the process take for them to get the Visa? Jennifer is going to have a baby in August around the 20 also, so we want her parents to be here then or soon after to help in taking care of her.
  11. Thanks a lot, let me see what I can do then
  12. I am not sure, but I think that some or most of the CD's that are made in the US wont play on there players there, is this right?
  13. Thats OK, I understand You know its strange, our timelines for are almost exactly the same. How much longer do you think it will be before youre wife and or Fiance is here?
  14. Thats great, congratulations! Lets see, when Jennifer and I flew back this time the worst thing was trying to sleep B) We got really lucky because every seat on the airline was taken except the third seat that we had. We tried laying back to back, her head on my shoulders, my head on her shoulders, my head against the window, I think we tried pretty much everything. I have come to realize that it is impossible to get comforatble on an airline, even China Southern Remember, always get youre Skymiles
  15. If any of you need to talk to someone with a little more pull than the other people that you have been talking to in Guang Zhou I recomend this lady to talk to. Her name is xxxx and she works at the Consulate in Guang Zhou. We got very, very lucky durning our process and she E-mailed Jennifer once to explain something to her and we held on to her E-mail address and phone number, so here it is: Just dont send to much or call to much and everything will be fine. When you E-mail her, include youre case number in the subject of youre E-mail and put the high priority flag in youre Outlook Express Mail on it. We havent had to use the address or phone number siince last September, so I would hope that it still is the same. Good Luck Everyone,
  16. I have quit a lot of pictures of when Jennifer and I went to Chong Qing. I have them posted on the HP Photo Home site. This is the link to them: http://hpphoto.com/servlet/com.hp.HPAlbumP...lbum_id=3888143 If you guys cant see them, is there any way that I can post them here so that you guys can have a look at them?
  17. Thanks a lot for the warm welcome First of all, the picture is Kelly Chen...lol...lol... Like I said I am not to good with these computer things so I just put a picture of Kelly in there for now until I get the hang of this sing. thing. My wife turned me on to Kelly the first time I went to China last September, I was in love for a second time when I heard her sing. Oh, I forgot to tell you guys, we are expecting our first little boy in August B) When we got back from Chong Qing, we had an appointment at Hospital on the 13 and thats when they told us. We are trying to pick out a name now, it's a little hard for a little boy. We are trying to get a name that will go with my last name and Jennifers family, so the name would have to be something, something, something, Zhou Parks, so far the only name we have is Alan. Well our first time going to China together was great, I will tell you and I am sure a lot of you can relate to this. Flying to China by youreself can be very lonely, especially once you leave LA X. This was my third time there, the other two times I went to Guang Zhou to see her, that is where she used to work at. Chong Qing is much better than Guang Zhou, not as many people walking on the streets, or is it just that Chong Qing is much bigger? Jennifer really didn't have any problem getting used to the US, except the food. There really isn't a lot here that she likes, lucky for us we have an Asian Store that is about 20 minutes away from where we live, so that helps a lot. There are so many things that have happend to me since we started the K1 Process until now that I really dont know where to begin. The only thing I can say is if you are just starting the process or in the middle of it, hang in there it will end and it will be the greatest day of youre life when you go and pick up youre wife and or Fiance from the airport. I just consider myself to be one of the luckiest guys in the world to have met her and now to be married to her. Now I will work on the sing. part of me post Good luck everyone! Lenny and Jennife Parks

  19. I sent Jennifer money when she was in China, used Western Union, had no problems at all with the money getting to her.
  20. Hello, my name is Lenny and my wifes name is Jennifer. We have been married now for about 6 months. We did the K1 Visa, really didn't have any problems at all except the Name Check Process. We couldn't stand that, it took so long to have it done, anyway, my wife is from Chong Qing and I am from Texas. My dad was in the military and he retired here. We just got back from Chong Qing about 3 weeks ago, had a great time. We were there for about 15 days. I met all of the family, ate some strange food and drank some strang drinks, but overall, had an excellent time. If any of you live in Newport News VA, my wife and I would love to get together and met sometime, if you like. Good to be here, if we can help with anyones Visa Process, just let us know and we will try our best to help. I hope my sig. turns out OK, I am not to good at these computer things.
