  1. We just got through my fiancee's interview and are very excited to say that it was a success. We plan on getting legally married at the courthouse as soon as we arrive in the U.S., but plan on having a ceremony at a later date. It is very important to both of us that her parents and other family members are able to attend the wedding. All her family members that would be coming have strong attachments to China, own an apartment, car, and all but her aunt have jobs. They shouldn't have any issues obtaining visitor visas, right? and is there anything we should know about applying for their visitor visas? I tried searching for a post addressing this, but I didn't come up with anything. Forgive me if this has already been posted about. Thanks for the help as always everyone! Your help really is invaluable!

  3. Hi all. I hope everyone is doing well. My wife and I are wanting her elderly parents to come to the U.S. to visit us from China. Could someone point us to the steps required for us and for them? I know there is an invite letter we have to put together along with sponsorship? Any help you could give would be much appreciated as we really aren't sure where to start. Thanks all!! :-)
  4. I was wondering if anybody has any experience on getting a longer visitor visa for China. I have a 10 year Chinese visitors visa now but can only stay 60 days at a time. In order to get a drivers license I'm being told I need at least a 3 month visa. I don't see myself staying 3 months at a time but really would like to be able to drive while am there on my visits with my wife. She has a car but has only been driving few years and she scares the living daylights out of me the way she drives and on longer road trips it would be nice to switch drivers.
  5. I have a Chinese friend who has a Visitor Visa and it expires towards the end of April. she is looking at coming to USA in March. she would like to stay for 6 months. The questions I have is this. Should she renew her Visa now in China or wait till she here to renew it? If she renews it in China should she do it soon or should she wait till her current Visa is expired? If she come here can she stay here for the 6 months that they give her when she enters the country or does she have to renew her Visa before it expires. I've read on the net that she either has to renew her visa before it expires and also conflicting reports that she can enter the country before it expires and as long she leaves before her 6 months stamp expire she still legal even though her Visa has expired. let me know what you know on this Topic. thanks.... Scott
