As he was rushing off to the airport he looked and couldn't find Weilin any where. So after he went back to Chongqing, he found Weilin Together they made a mad dash for the airport once again........

I was hoping to hear from him by now. He and Weilin were going to call my wife and visit with her sense Weilin lives in the same community and can see each others house from the window. I think it will be great now, because unless Darrell is lurking online, he will not know Qunying got her P4 yet.

I told her it gets cold, but I have a bad feeling it is going to be bad this year. We have been already having some nite in the mid-40's, and is not even fall yet, but get this, as of yet, Ling as not closed the windows, has not had me turn on the heat, and in the morning when it is in the mid to high 50's, will go out jogging in short shorts. When she first arrived she complained about the cold some, and already is used to it. Go figure, GZ to here, and already adapting to the weather. Now just waiting for the real winter. Have you shown her what a snow blower looks like yet? My wife keeps telling me how she already doesn't like Wisconsin weather. I told her it's not so bad once you get used to the warmth inside the house. She tells me how she has a very warm coat she wants to bring with her. I told her that's good, but when she gets here we will go find her a "Real Coat" for this type of weather! ....

After 4 emails (one sent every 8th day) and no respons, I have started to call DOS every monday. Suprisingly my wait to talk to someone has only been no more than 3 minutes. But I still get the same ..."Your wife has not been schedualed yet" ... respons! I am still hoping for a Late Sept - Early to mid October interview.

Hey Darrell, a little belated "Congratulations". I know you and Weilin are enjoying a new begining in life now. Qunying is anxiouse to hear from you two soon. She was happy to hear you got the visa with no problems. Have a safe trip home! Bryan

Hi Jim, Just like the others have said, be careful and understand what is at steak. I also send my wife money every month but I think our situation is a little different. My wife also owns a condo but untill about April when we got P3, she had a very good business going. When she received the P3 we anticipated that P4 ways not to far away. (Ooopps... got that wrong!) At any rate, I had been sending her money before and she would use it, at my request, on her daughter and to save what was left for the up coming expenses for GZ etc. My wife, by no means, needs the money, but it helps on those days now that she has gone from 60 regular customers, down to 4 or 5. (outstanding obligations). So sending money is not always a bad thing. Just keep in mind that $600 in China is 4900RMB if she gets it from an ATM. That is alot of money per month for the average Chinese. Talk to your MM and ask her to be honest with you about everything. She will talk to you if she loves you. Good Luck! Bryan

Marty, I am certanly hoping so as you are too. My wife is now getting very anxiouse and frustrated at the same time. I can always tell when she is depressed and is really missing me. She goes shopping and buys a dress. Then she gets all made up and then shows the dresses off to me on Video chat. This last trip to the dress shop neted 3 regulare dresses and one hand made. I can't get upset with her. I know it makes her happy so I don't ask how much she give for the dresses. She will tell me if it is very expensive. If we don't meet in China, then we will just have to meet in the States! I was telling Darrell when he called me the day just before he left, that a get to gether with you, he and a few others would be great. Untill then, we are keeping our fingers crossed and I continue to call DOS every Monday.

He and Weiling are probably in line as we speak. I am sure we will get a report as soon as he can get to a computer. Darrell, we are all very anxiouse!

Marty, The way things are going, it could be. I am still trying to figure out if I will have the money to go. It is possable that Qunying might have a few things to clean up before coming, so that would mean (depending on the interview date) she may need to wait a couple months before coming. If that happens, then I will be going to China for sure. I still have my hopes she will be ready just after the interview. I'm sure if I can make it that Qunying and I would love to meet up and take a cruise. I'll keep you posted! Darrell, Glad to see you made it in one piece.

Everyone, I want to tell you about this but I'm afraid I would leave something out. You will enjoy this much more when Darrell tells it. I will tell you three things: 1. New Lugage 2. Bathroom 3. Tickets / Passport / Documents

Hello Everyone, I just had a long phone conversation as Darrell was waiting out a several hour layover at the airport. You know that one thing that you just know you have forgotten after you are almost to your first destination (the airport in this case)? Weeeeeell..... Darrell has a great story to share with everyone when he returns from China. I told him it will be a better story if he tells it. I was LMAO! So stay tuned boys and girls, the fun will soon start!

Turtle, be careful! Your trying to use logic on a Government Agency! You know how dangerouse that is! Your going to worry yourself ragged. I have stopped trying to guess when I might see P4 and now all I do is call DOS each week. It's all I can do for now.

That's just a "Canned" response telling you that they have no idea when you will be scheduled. Pull up a chair and join the "Waiting Club". Our members in this club may always change, but we all share the same wait! Jerry, all you can do is keep at it each week. I gave up sending emails, GZ stopped replying to me, so I now call DOS every Monday morning 8:30am sharp!

I only have one thing to say about the whole thing: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH! Any questions?

Don't hold your breath! The way things have been going. Even those of us that have been waiting sense the last of April haven't been able to get even a grunt as to a speculation as to when an interview date might happen. Hang in there All!

I gave up writing GZ after my 3rd email went unanswered. I call DOS every Monday now and today got the same answer as the rest of you. Much more of this, and I'll be completely Bald!.............
