So far so good. Today Fengjie got her green card. She did not understand what it was until I got someone to tell her in Chinese. So it is all good now. Today when I came home from work she had cleaned the garage. She is just that kind of woman. How are you to doing? Life in America is different for the both of us. Michael Glad to hear things are going well. We have settled in nicely and like any married couple have our share of disagreements. Cleaning is not her forte I am also glad that things are going well Michael. Sounds like Fengjie is adapting well. Sam, are you sure that you married a Chinese woman? I am not so sure......maybe I should get a genetic test done. My wife's neither ... she hired a cleaning woman while we are here in China. I keep telling her it will be much more expensive to hire one in the USA. Wait a minute ..... of course, like a Chinese rest./politican, I can hire an illegal immigrant and pay in cash. Now at my house everything gets cleaned. She even helps cutting the lawn and pulling weeds. Yes this is the cleanist house. Been a long time since it has been like this. I do help out with things. But when I am gone something will get cleaned while I am gone. She also wants to get a job. so she can save money to go to China if something happens to her Mother. Let me tell you I am a very blessed man. Jie is here visiting with us. Now Jie has been helping her with her English. Tonight there is going to be dumpling made. So looking forward to that.

The way I see it is that he should have not left the scene. But it still doesn't give the right to hit the guy. Bottom line is the cop should have got out of his car and responded. Chinese or not. They cop cannot hit you. This happens all over the place. Some cops should not be serving the police force. Got to think he did not have the right to enter the garage. Now think of this. If this happened to American in China. How different are the rules. Cops do have the right apprehend suspects who try to evade arrest. But are not allowed to hit them. It was all on camera. So there for the cops did wrong.

We did recieve a second Welcome Home letter on Friday. I have heard of others getting the second letter. Everyday is a adventure with Fengjie. She has been adjusting well. Now myself on the other hand. I am not used to be being treated like a King all the time. She gets the same treatment from me. The English classes are going well. But the will end soon for the summer break. But in June she is going on a class trip to Chicago and she is pretty excited about that. Then it turns out her daughter is in America. She will be coming to Oshkosh to visit her Mother on May 15, 2010. They have not seen each other in 10 years. Do not know the reason why. Then every inch of the house is being cleaned. She keeps me busy. Then with the business it hard to get back on track. She is such a wonderful woman. I am a very lucky man to be blessed with such beautiful woman. Michael

Social Security number in 16 days is pretty good! It was applied for on April 5, 2010 and we recieved it on April 10, 2010. It was really quick.

Great Update, Michael. One thing I found that helps my wife learn English. I talk to her just like any other person in America. Then we concentrate on the translation, This way she learns how English sounds and get used to hear it. She also asks me to correct her grammar. This way she does not get used to bad English habits. Yeah, you have a long way to go, but it will be a great trip. Enjoy. If she is constantly talking to family and friends in China, you might consider replacing your home phone with Italkbb. It is a VoIp service just like Vonage, except you get free calling to and from China. I have had it for four years and love it. Great idea. I will look into it. Michael

Life has changed a lot. First she is going to English classes now and that will help. Fengjie took the dog for a walk one day and got lost on the way back. She loves hot water and orange juice and tea. Pretty much is what she drinks. She has made Chinese food and likes doing that. Sometimes I have no clue what she is telling me. We have a hand held abd we use that. But sometimes that doesn't work. Then it is plan B. I called Yan and she told me what she wanted. She likes going to Golden Corral. She has a choice of what she would like to eat. Fengjie's call China a lot and I did show her how to do with the help of Yan. We also have used Yahoo Messenger and QQ. She does have her own cell phone. So this does help. Everyday there is a new adventure. I have to work at the ball park sometime and she bag the popcorn for me. She also helped with the hot dogs. Not understanding English has been a little tough for her. But it will get better as time moves on with her classes on English. There is never a dull moment. Still learning what American food she likes. Plus I made a roast and potatoes and carrots in a crock pot. She really seemed to like that. Of course we do go to Chinese places also. Since my friend owns one. Turns out that has been really good. There is a woman Mae that has a daughter that goes to school in America. She has a DVD and other items that she can use to learn English. We have a long ways to go. And looking forward to a bright future. Michael

That is very true about oil. But we have more oil right here in America than any other Country. Our wonderful governmnet just doesn't want to use it.
