Thats the place. must be a chain. it was ok i guess. the hotpot place near Hui's house is alot better. it has a cool nomad tent setup on one side of the place.

Well we went for hotpot last night at a place that specialized in sheep or i guess you would call it mutton.... (i think). Food was good but the entertainment (unintenional) was better. We had to wait about 20 minutes for a table to open up for us so I sat and played games on my phone while Hui and her brother picked out the hotpot items and caught up on things. Well one of these things turned out to be a bowl of live baby eals (i kept poking them with my chopsticks to make them swim laps... ) So Hui's brother picks uo the eals off the small table where the waiter had placed them and dumped 1/2 of them in the pot. Well that was a sight to see, man i thought the water was boiling befor it really took off now. For about 5 seconds there was water splashin around the tables next to use were pointing at us and trying to get a good look in the pot to see the show...... the waiter came running over saying no no no do not put them in yet! Turns out he was supose to wait for the eal lady to bring her little tube over and put the tube down in to the water and then pour the eals down into the tube so they are contained and dont splach around but I think her brothers way was better... at least more entertaining... I also managed to acquire a nemesis of sorts last night... We also got some sheep ribs at the hotpot last night and they were yummy but they led to what will forever be know as the Battle of the Bone! After finishing the ribs I put my rib bone on a empty plate that had once held one of the item for the hot pot. After a few minutes this little old man came by gathering up empty plates from the table and busing them back to be cleaned. Well after picking up my plate and putting it in his cart he walks a few steps, stops picks up my bone and places the bone back on the table. i'm like huh? I ask Hui what was going on but she is just as amused as me. So I put the bone back on another empty plate and a few miuntes later the same thing happens takes the plate brings back the bone..... this time I try to sneak it by him by placing another plate on top of the one holdong the bone.... No dice... he is good.... Brings back the bone and says something to Hui's, something to the effect of "not my Job" then he give me the look..... the look that says Im watching you. I return the look with interest letting him know this is not over....... I try again this time i break it in 1/2 and hide it under a bowl. The old man picks up the dishes and heads to the back, We are ready to go by this time so I think I have won the battle but as we are leaving I see the old man shuffleing out from the back bone parts inhand heading for our table.... But we dash out the door leaving the bones behind... Im sure to this day there is a old man wandering the streets looking for the Lawie that tricked him in to taking that damn bone so he can shove it up the lawies A..

Soon to come...... Fight at the dentist office. The Dentist almost punched out a paient.... (No not me).

i want to ride on that thing but it is Never open! well lets see what happened today..... Well we started out the day going to her house to pickup her family book so we could go down to the Passport office and she could get her name changed to her married name. We also went and ate breakfast at a tiny 2 table place in the alley near her home. Food was good, we had a bowl of noodles and bowl of minced pork pattie and egg soup (Hui makes this all the time at home.) (restraunts tasted a bit better but dont tell Hui... ) The bill for breakfast was a whopping 8.5 rmb total for both of us. then we went down to the passport office and she took care of what we needed to do. took about 45 minutes I played games on my phone while i waited. Oh another thing I paid extra money to Verizin to have data access on my phone here but it dose not work. I can send a text but will not recieve any and i have never been able to get internet access.... So much for "global access" We had dinner at her godmothers house......God I HATE stairs...... 6 floors up! my fat ass was not liking it. Ok well back to bed it's 5:30 am and i want to try to sleeop alittle more before i get drug to the Chinese dentist... Anyone ever get a root canel in China? Im thining I should wait and go to Mexico when I get back. Wonder how much dentist are in china? In Mw=exico it would cost me about 250-300usd. I'll let ya all know if I got all my Teef tomarrow. Hmmm on a side not I wonder if Tsap ever had any work done on that one tooth he has left done over here???? Anyone know?

Oh Highlight of being in Nanchang so far is when we walked in to the hotel room seeing all of the cards poked under the door for all of the "massage therapists" that will come help you relax.... I swiped em all up and told Hui I'm gonna collect the whole set...... Im missing the rookie card for the tiny Hin.... Uhhh oh wife is comming gotta go.. P.s. I got 2 of the cards for the girl witht he big boom booms. if anyone wants to trade....

More to come I will use this post to tell you all the fun times.... Well at least up to the part where I get Arres...... Errr well you know...

What dose 5 hours of sleep in 2 days get you? A adventure in China is what.... After a long trip 1. drive to LA from Phoenix 2. Fly from LA to Vancouver Canada. 3. Fly from Vancouver to Shanghi 4. Subway from Shanghi Pudong airport to Shanghi Hongchow airport. Fly from Shanghi to Nanchang. Man I'm not as tired as i would have expected this morning. We went to bed around 1:30am after going out for street BBQ last night. WOke up about 6:30am and we are up for the day. I never can seem to sleep more then 5 hours anymore even after such a long trip.

Yeah but we need USA Cancer sticks... I checked with the local smoke shope in they are $59.00 a carton, Air Canada has them for 39.00 a carton and I can pre order them. so I think I will do that tomarrow.

I seem to remember last time I went a carton of cigerettes was like 19.00 or something like that in the duty free shop. maybe Im wrong

Want to take some Americian Cig's and liqur back to China. Do I buy it at the duty free shops at the airport in LA or wait till the shops in Vancouver, or buy it on the plane? Or walmart... Also any brands better then other? I dont smoke or drink. (unless it's rum)

If you google China sim card, many places come up that say you can buy a card from them and still get calls on your local (USA) number. Anyone ever use these? Or what is the best way to have text msging and internet access while in China. My family has been involved with horse racing for years. My father was a jockey for 25 years and won over 3000 races. A very good friend of the family had a horse in the derby today the hor ended up running fifth. The horse was 1 of the favorites considering it had beat the top 2 favorite in previous races. It was disappointing they didn't win but it was a hell of a chance just to get there

While in China next month Hui wants to change her name on her passport. She will be traveling to China on a ticket with her madin name on it. Will it be a problem returning with a passport that will then have her married name?

ok I forgot the answer for this one. On the application for the visa to China it asks place of Issue for my passport. I looked on the passport and did not see the answer. can someone help out?

I can use my Razr Maxx in China according to Verizon¡£What I want to do is get a Chinese sim card while I am there. If I do can get one with internet access? I want it for the translator prgms on my phone. The main translator prgm is google translate so I worry if it will work in China. Dose anyone else have a translator prgm on their phone that has worked over there? Im using a Andriod phone so no Apple only ones.
