  3. I now have a keyboard with Chinese characters on it, but have not figured out how to use it.
  4. I can not write Chinese characters, and having a difficult time of getting my Fiancee to fill the forms with the correct characters also. I would think with her being an office worker 20 years, it would be easy for her to fill the forms. I send the Chinese version to her so she will understand. I just send the forms back to her, until we get it correct. thanks
  5. On the GUZ website,,,,,,,"DS-157 Supplemental Nonimmigrant Visa Application. All applicants 16 years of age and older must complete the DS-157 form, type your answers in the space provided below each item and print out the completed form. You don't need its Chinese DS-157, but if you need its Chinese translation to help understand the English form, click here. (Note: When filling out Item 3 "Full Name (In Native Alphabet), Chinese applicants must also fill out items 5,6,7,12, & 17 in Chinese characters.)"......................Much confusion.
  6. DS-156,,,,,,,Is 2 copies needed in English and 2 copies in Chinese? Recently I read that Line 6,7,15,18,20,must be filled in with Chinese Native Alphabet, similar with Form DS-157. The last DS-157 I copied, had double boxes for each language.
  7. Congradulations...........Glad it is a simple fix, Single Document. Good Luck
  8. The guz website has on the DS-156, after the form is printed out, Chinese nationals must fill out Items 6,7,8,9,15,18,20 manually in Chinese and must provide the telegraph code for surnames, 6 & 7, which can be found at Chinese post office
  9. according to the guz website, as of 1 may, 2006,,,the DS-157 Chinese version is not needed, but box # 3, 5 , 6, 7 , 12, 17 must be written in Chinese native alphabet.
