    Where I live you can take ESL classes at the Community college or in some places churches offer them. My stepfather teaches ESl at the local church and my SO will be going to them shortly after her arrival.......I guess I got lucky on this one. We have a lot of Hispanic and Korean people around here.

    I want to thank everyone here at CFL for all the help in getting this far. I am sure we will have many more questions about the up coming AOS. Everyone here has been great. As soon as she gets home from GUZ I will get all the details about the interview and give my opinion as to why I think we got the visa.

    Still waiting on my SO to give me details of the interview. I will post as soon as I get the info.

     

    You know any good news is always followed with bad........I learned today that my 14 year old daughter has her first boyfriend :blink: :cheering: :cheering:

    How is that bad? Nothing to worry about. Oh wait you don't live where I do. In Arizona God blessed us with a million miles of desert... Miles and miles of empty desert filled with deep abandoned mine shafts. Now I consider you a friend so PM me and I will give you the GPS cords to my favorite one. So all you need is a alibi and your good to go. :)

     

    I spent 7 years there so I know of a few places myself :)

    not yet....she is trying to get some pictures for me and then she will send everything and I can post the question they asked

    When will see come to the USA?

    Do not know the questions yet...she will send me an email soon.....I will get it in the morning. I know they only asked 3 questions and it took 1 minute. As for when she will be here...............not sure. We really didn't make any plans as we both thought that my marriage to my EX from Russia would cause problems. We both want her to be here before Christmas but I am not sure. I think she should stay for her daughters birthday on Decmeber 30 and then come out after plane tickets go down after Jan 14. But I will bring her here as soon as possible.

    If you do decide to file the K-1 then I would recomend that you FRONT LOAD any application with what happened and what you have done to repent. I would also tell your SO EVERYTHING so she will be well prepaired at the interview..........if you make it that far.

    Can you explain what "front load" means?

    Give them all the evidence and explinations up front to be sent with your petition. Include evidence of relationship, trips to be with her, pictures, letters signed and notorized about your past convictions...anything and everything you can think of.

    Hello to all,, I am a new member but have been reading here for over a year now. Our visa has been denied and is being sent back to USCIS. Of course it is the usual non bona fide reason that they like to use. My fiancee was very prepared and had everything we needed, this girl is very heart broken and just cant understand why this has happend to us. When we first met her english was not very good, but a year and a half now has really progressed. The chat records that she took to the interview, where questioned by the VO, as to why I talk with her in non native english, we wrote a letter and explained why I talk with her this way, this way has very helped her to understand and learn english better. This was the only thing that was questioned and I really beleive this is why she did not get her visa. Hopefully I can get a few answers of advice and encouragement to help me keep her hopes alive. Thanks]

    Very sorry to hear that. Perhaps you can supply us a time line, this might help us to give you better information.
